Ooh absolutely, this specific item is definitely worth it, it's a one of a kind. My gripe is with the botters and rmt'ers competing with legitimate traders and collectors in general and causing even fairly common prenerfs to go for 3-4 times as much as any sane person would deem it worth. But here's to hoping this magnificent item ends up in the hands of an actual collector.
I agree with you on the botters etc. I do my best not to buy anything from them in their auctions ( I have a pretty good idea who they are now) but probably not completely successful due to not knowing who all of them are.

No legit player can compete with these crazy number of arms getting thrown around over there. With maybe the exception of a handful OG trader/collectors, most of them are botters and RMT'ers. Such is the state of this wonderful game.
I dont think the current offer of 2200 is anywhere near the value of that axe. The chances of something of that caliber falling again is pretty nil with the current player base. That's a priceless item in my mind.

Tengu is too low of a level to drop these.
Since info on these axes is limited, at least from the cursory efforts Ive made so far, what level mobs would you suggest are the sweet spot ?

They are quite hard to get, dropping both inscr or OS from mobs around lvl 15 more or less.
Just to clarify the blue one that dropped for me was from a level 16 Maguuma spider on my way to kill Gale Stormsend for the quest Eye for Profit. I was playing a Channel Rit with a necro minion master hero
It seems i have many toons that skipped the jungle. I'm curious to see if the drops (if any) vary by profession
Speaking of Yeti, I am about 80% sure this personal favorite dropped from Yeti long time ago
Ive done a couple of dozen runs in Jaya Bluffs, Ive had better drops( no 7-21 axes at all) from the tengu than i have from the Yeti so far

This wasnt a drop or purchase.
It was gifted to me by someone who was told I was interested in 7-21 axes.
They asked to see what I've collected so far and I said I havent found anything yet,
either by drop or purchase. They said it was a recent drop for them and then showed me
another 7-21 axe they've had for ages and wished me luck on the hunt .
For now I wont name the player as I don't know if they want to remain anonymous or not.
If they are ok with it I will give them full credit publicly.

It has a nice skin imo. It could fetch 20-30e?
Personally I'd keep it for a collection.

Some of those staves are very nice.
I'd put them up for auction, let it simmer of a couple of weeks so the collectors see them.
Obviously the Brute Sword will command attention xxa-xxxa
I think, ( and I'm not a good PC'er here that some of the 20/20 staves will go for xa-xxa) not sure how people feel about the Outcast staff skin.
The Dom Outcast may be a good piece

I moved one toon there to see what happens there, another on the factions island

I have a 7-19 gold os one somewhere, i'm pretty sure it came from a lvl 15 mountain yeti in jaya bluffs.
I forgot all about the starter island in Factions for these.
