Can someone shed some light into the infraction point system and thresholds for bans etc. Couldnt find much in the way of information anywhere on the forum.
There is indeed a warning/infraction point system in place. I won't discuss all details of it, because that leads to people gaming that system.
What I will say is that how it generally works is that it utilizes a points system that will automatically trigger actions once enough points have been collected.
Every action a moderator takes, will assign you warning points. For example, the warning to read the Xunlai Marketplace rules will assign you 1 point. A first warning gets you 2 points, a second one 4 and so on. However, a moderator can overrule the amount of points given and can decide if points expire.
There are pre-set warnings but moderators can choose what they find appropriate. The moderators have my full trust there and I serve as the escalation point if someone does not agree with the received warning or ban (and for that reason, I usually do not moderate that actively myself).
Some of these points will expire after a while, other points never expire. The first action that automatically get applies is when you get 8 points, which disables your avatar for a week. In general, warning points are set up to not expire.
To get a first ban, you will need to collect 15 points. The next ban, for 3 days, only takes 5 more points (which equals a new warning, once you get at that point).
I hope this sheds some light on the system, and if your require more information, feel free to ask it here or privately.
