On the Options window (default F11) do you have "Do not show skill tips on effect monitors" checked?
-
-
That's strange, not heard of being unable to view the tab before.
The Wiki has some basic info on the controls:

Ornate Strength Dragons - b/o 50e
Ornate Strength Plants - b/o 60e
edit: Thanks for Trade!

Ornate q11 Tactics Divine - 20e (Thanks for trade)
Ornate q9 Strength Prot. - 40e

just because they are friends, they support each other, easy way to go 5 against 1, but idc, as i said, when i know prices i call, when i don't know i ask. that's all. their insults as "dogwater" etc are just troll. i'm not a kid and when a fcking kid tries to troll me, i go on, it's usual in pvp, but i'm sure tmiles has many problems irl that's why he speaks like that. It"s not my way to make any collection, i think its useless, i prefer get a mini panda compare his collection...
a q9 tactic +1 prot/-2 ws is usefull compare a q9 t +1 dom /30. i would pay really more for that kind of prot shield than a dom one.
As has been mentioned by others in this post, the purpose of Price Checks is to be constructive in discussing how to best assess the price. It's absolutely fine to disagree with another person's valuation specially with given justification/history.
A lot of the time no one can have the perfect answer which is why it is imporatnt to get as many view points as possible.
If anyone cannot be constructive and instead resort to personal attacks then they will receive the necessary warnings.
It's possible to disagree with others but have a civil discussion. Everyone should keep this in mind going forward or warnings will start to get handed out.

We currently have a Community events and contests forum where people can post challenges and contests with/without prizes.
There have been some successful events posted there in the past. I've also seen the occasional ones pop up on Reddit, in the SC community, on Discord too.
Its open to any ideas people come up with.

Are you playing in Pre-Searing or adventuring to Post-Searing?
Pre-Searing everything should feel powerful after a couple of levels. Make sure you're putting your Attribute points into certain Attributes and not spreading them across all at the start.
For example I wouldn't bother putting any attribute points into the Secondary Profession unless you know you have a specific need for one of the skills. Rangers have good Armor and Healing themeselves without needing Monk skills.
Starting in Prophecies can feel a little weak for every class. The skills aren't the greatest and you can leave Pre-Searing at a level that was very strong in Pre and not so strong in Post-Searing.
Make sure you're getting the materials to upgrade your Armor which can be done in Ascalon from the Armor Crafters - make sure to pick the one with the Higher Armor Level as there are two.
You can still get Skills from the Skill Trainer in Ascalon but also look for side-quests which reward other Skills.
Overall Prophecies is slow and offers lower rewards than other campaigns. If you have the other Campaigns I'd suggest trying one of them out as an alternative.

Are you doing the Mission with the Henchmen that are available from the Outpost?
It should be possible as N/R with a full party. Make sure you are not spreading your attribute points across too many different attributes. Focus on certain skills even if you don't have many of them on your Skill Bar.
Use the Wiki to help with Mission info: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Fort_Ranik
If you don't have a Guild yet it is a good way to find players and ask for help in-game, you can check our Recruitment section: Recruitment

There are only two server locations iirc; America and Europe so it doesn't matter too much which District(s) you're using since they'll be running from one or the other.

Yung_Rocks noticed that in the GW Store there had been a reduction in some items. Reddit Thread.
Guild Wars Complete Collection | Online RPGThe award-winning original Guild Wars games with a rich story and deep character customization. Explore the world and challenge other players online!store.guildwars.comYou may find there's at least a 30% reduction in the following items:
- Xunlai Material Storage [£5.99, €6.99, $6.99]
- Xunlai Storage Pane [£5.99, €6.99, $6.99]
- Extreme Makeover [£5.99, €6.99, $6.99]
With a v.small reduction of 11% in GBP ONLY (this is not applied in the Euro or USD prices) for:
- Merc Hero Slot [£7.99]
- Character Slot [£7.99]
- Makeover Pack [£7.99]
There's also been a mis-price in the Game of the Year Upgrade which is now over 260% more expensive and the same price as the Game of the Year Edition (includes. Prophecies).
To track and compare to previous proper sales I've made this GW Store Prices comparison Google Sheet.
What's strange is there hasn't been a 'Sale' announcement from ArenaNet not on Twitter or the GW2 News site like there have been on previous sales.
Since it is only on a small number of items, and with the mis-price it's possible it isn't actually a Sale and something else is going on. Back-end store modifications or something. They changed payment processor last month could it be related. I'm sure when there was some active support on Reddit in the past it was mentioned prices changes were tricky because it had all been hard-coded or something.
For reference: the price updates in Feb 2019 last time the store changed to add the Complete Collection (removing the Trilogy and Platinum editions).

I suggest you look here for some examples:

Anything that is perfect inherent and 9 requirement you can see if someone wants that skin (check the Buy section) but most of the time it is ages to sell for low ecto so not really worth it. Consider keeping/using on Heroes too.
Anything that is for Merch, also check if it is salvagable to Iron or other high value materials. Salvage may be better than Merch. Also check for any high value mods I didn't really look at those in detail.
Here is a quick review. Can wait for more opinions.

Using the mmo-population site for information about Guild Wars is 100% useless. The site is not transparent in how it gets it's data so to give it a platform in a GW video is very misleading.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWars/co…_shows/fp59xwr/
When the same site was mentioned in Reddit in May 2020 it has more explanation about where the data was from and I wrote this. Turns out it uses Reddit subreddit data to make up the stats on the site.
-My post from Reddit:
It is really frustrating when innacurate data is attempted to be passed off as facts. This site is not transparent at all.
Someone shared this in Discord the other day (10th April) and the site had a slightly different design and it was easier to find their calculation for estimating MMO numbers.
This is a quote from the site previous to the redesign:
QuoteIt's virtually impossible to work out accurate subscriber counts for MMOs today, and this site cannot do that. we do it based on reddit subscriber information. We track the current subscribers, active users and history of both. This helps you to choose an MMO that has the required "activity" you'd like to see.
Now their 'Data' page just says they use "sentiment analysis" from an AI... whatever that means. If someone could actually find out how they get their figures that would be great. The fact the url still uses the /r/ guildwars url leads me to believe it is still using Reddit data.
Before the site was just pulling Reddit data analytics and showed how popular a games subreddit was, not the game.
There is no way that any of the numbers on the GuildWars page are accurate.
Anet/NCSoft has never published user number for GuildWars. The only official numbers come from sales of the game.
edit:
Here is what the site used to look like, unfortunately web.archive only got data July 2019.
https://web.archive.org/web/2019073006…com/r/GuildWars
The About page as it used to be: https://web.archive.org/web/2019052112…ation.com/about
QuoteExposing how it works
We measure two primary metrics: Reddit Subscribers and Reddit Active Users.
Magic number: This is the number taken from averaging out the biggest and most recently known public subscriber and daily player numbers vs reddit subscribers.
MMOStats also doesn't publish where it gets it's data from to make up these numbers. So to pass them off as even possible accurate data is incredibly misleading.

Yep, you can send me a message or mention me in the thread, or drop a message to cosyfiep if we miss a thread that needs closing.
We try and check most days but sometimes can be busy or not able to check. Thanks for checking the rules and asking the question.
