I've gotten mostly bronze shields. I've had other skins too but those pop up for me usually, the few shields I get.

Maybe I should just pray to RNGesus for better drops...

This is one of my favorite spots to run. Its given me my best drops, but I also spent lots of time there, i'd guess how many chests but I doubt it would be close. Imo its one of the lowest drop rate of shields and it's not exactly the best skins. If you just want weapons and tomes its a perfect area, chests don't drop 'armor' drops.

Gold item drop rate is better in hm (plus tomes) so overall more worthwhile, nm is waaay easier only lots of purples. The area is much too high level for q8 drops, so really NM is just for if you feel lazy.

First time I did Kilroys quest in Sorrows with an old friend they got a purp Crysta. We both looked at it and said "Oh, it's q9 and max dmg but nobody will want a purp." not knowing how rare the skin was (we only knew the pre longsword). The merchant ate pretty well that day.
