Hello,
Would you mind taking a look at this strange looking bow I found customised to my warrior. I'm certain this dropped a long time ago. Is it as odd as I think or just a junk item?
Thanks!
Hello,

1h? I don't follow your lingo sorry!
I'm happy with it so far. Lots more detailing to add yet!
Wow grats man you finally got it, it's been a while
Thanks man! It took a while too!
Kryta, gotta love that sea air!
Moa or Bear pet?
+5e, gotsta have dem caster weapons.
Maguuma Jungle or Crystal Desert?
Scythe.
Runes or insignias?
Okay, I've got quite a bit on at the moment but hopefully my time will be freed up a little after the weekend. I shall cut out my own characters and post them here, I'll let you know if I can do other ones. Think I need to sort out my Photoshop license first though! I'll keep you posted!
Not sure which thread to post this on as you have a few now!
How often do you rotate your runs? Is it based on; Picks consumed? Time spent? Runs completed?
Do you think the frequency of changing up the location has any effect on the drops?
Where are you up to on this project? I would like to contribute but I have very little time at the moment! Don't want to miss out!
Staff!
Daggers or Bow?
I'll go to the concert as I don't do that enough!
Axe or Sword?
I always hated these mobs. As everyone above has said just stick at them!
The poster above me is not the poster you are looking for.
*waves hand*
Mclaren, good ol' British Engineering!
CNC or Handcrafted?
The Poster above me is a Jedi Resistant, Cookie Eating Rodent.
I'd suggest heading behind the house that Oink is outside on the same mission. Head left after going through the gate instead of heading forward to the first group you killed. There is a large spawn of undead once you kill the first group. Rinse and repeat!
Excellent work on these videos. They've proven useful!
I was thinking the same as Looney. I did this a few times for zkeys.
Ohhh right! I'll take a look at them! Thanks for the info!
Yeah, I still only have access to the work 3D Printer and a friends. I'd like to invest in one myself but I don't really have the space at the moment!
I'm not sure how easy the models are to modify however from my 3D printing experience I know there are models that you can print with pivots etc. They can be printed as one part and the articulating sections just need to be broken free.
Let me know if you have time to play around with ripped 3D models and how easy they are to modify using your software.
Sounds like you'd be much more versed in altering ripped models than myself.
I haven't used any of the programmes you listed.
It's be awesome to see your end result! Feel free to post it here!
Following because I too wish to 3d print some guild wars stuff, for cosplays & statues.
I'm certain I could use some of my skills to make the player & creature models more printer friendly
Interested to hear what your skills/experience is with modelling/3D printing! What software do you use? Any plans for future builds?
I'm playing through Prophercies on my Dervish.
I was surprised to find another player in Divinity Coast, they were looking to do the mission in HM so I decided to team up with them instead of playing NM on my own. I brought my heroes and we completed the Mission and Bonus no problem! We both helped each other out and it made a nice change to playing solo/with heroes!
Later on I was back in Lion's Arch and someone was looking for a run to Granite Citadel. I offered to give it a go for them as I hadn't been there either. We had to run from Camp Rankor to Deldrimor War Camp and then on to Granite Citadel. I did die a few times along the way but we got there in the end! Another happy fellow player and I got to do something different to missions for once!
All in all it was a nostalgic experience and proved that there are still people out there playing the game!
[TLDR] Nostalgia. People still play GW. Happy to play with other players.
Ok, so after much deliberation I've decided to continue the modelling and 3D printing with a martial weapon. It was suggested by a number of you that the Sephis Axe would pair nicely with the Crude Shield and so I've started modelling this! I would expect this to take me a lot less time than the Crude Shield so hopefully you'll see a finished product sooner. I'll post some pictures once I've modelled something worth showing.
The poster above me is also busy.
I've never had more than one set of Obsidian Armour.
In!
Peanuts or Cashew nuts?
Ant.
Boat or Car?
Yeah as you can see in the links Marty and Marv posted it is possible. As stated previously there is ways to rip the 3D models from GW directly however these aren't really made for printing.
The software I use doesn't have the capabilities to easily model characters, which means using the method I have to produce the shield isn't really feasible to create characters.
I finished the model last week. It's taken a long time but I'm finally happy enough to try and print it.
Check it out!
PLA, 20% infill, 0.15 layer height, 3h 11m print time, 8.5m of filament used.
Really impressed with the detailing as this is on the standard settings. I'm looking to scale the model up a bit and reduce the layer height which should improve the quality and detail!
I'll start work on the martial weapon to go with it in the new year!
Chives and Bacon.
Bacon is always the obvious choice for anything, right?
Christmas time; Christmas music or regular music?
I use an iPhone as well and I think the forum functions excellently through Safari. I don't really see the need for an app.
I am a member on other forums which use the Tapatalk app however I find it easier to use Legacy through Safari than those functioning on Tapatalk.
Sough Dough.
White boards or black boards?
