for Sentinel's Insignias you should be sure to actually have the required 13 Strength (preferably 14 because of weakness), otherwise they are completely useless and wasted.
I'd say the Insignias very largely depend on the area/ enemies you encounter, or simply on personal preference. Sentinel's sure is not bad, but in an area where you don't take any elemental damage it has no benefit. so eventually more than 1 armor set would be good. but until then just experiment with what you like and what works best.
Read the descriptions, maybe read the wiki a bit and think about what youre doing and you will be fine

My personal beef is with Talon Daggers...
All 3 versions are ugly as hell and maybe monstrous bits, but m4m it's still about 1 to 4 bone 😆 nearly every time.
my theory is that those items with chance for nice rare material give such extremely low amounts of regular materials to balance it out. if you got either a diamond or 100 iron it would be too good and less of a gamble and 'overpowered' compared to items that don't have rare salvages.
And my experience with talon daggers is the same: no matter if white, blue, purple or gold and no matter if m4m or not, it is always less than 5 bones

As far as I can tell, shadow army in RoT do not drop shadow gear or obs shards. This is what I figured so far:
It is indeed odd about shadow blades and zchest/fowchest, but till I get a reputable testimony, I can't say...doesnt FoW chest drop obby shards?
