They'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. If they want to delete history, they can do it one by one - I’m keeping my relic until the servers finally hit the off switch.
Mine has never switched hands. For me it's a holy relic from 2010. If TwoWeeks insists, I might be benevolent enough 🤨 to let them put it in an actual museum, but that's all they’re getting.
Otherwise, it stays in the vault!

A bit of extra context: this whole story is familiar to me. I did drop it in the Mausoleum back in 2010, but I wasn’t farming for it - it just landed in my lap during the Halloween quest. I knew exactly what I’d found the moment it dropped, so I quietly tucked it away in storage. Back then there were rumors of players getting banned for trying to sell these, and reports of the items being removed outright. I even remember devs on Guru telling people it was safer to destroy them.
Edit: Not for sale. Ever. I’m not selling a piece of history, no matter what it’s worth!
