Trying to figure out how much such a shield would be worth. sadly it'S vs plants and not demons, guess it would have been much more then.

Yeah you are a 100% right that on demon mod it would be worth more.
It's still q9 and max mods. Wich are not the worst. ( ogre could have been worse :P)
I bought similar Shields here on the forum but with x00gs value from 100-200e ( I often end up paying a little more for the X00g.)
Still I hope that helps for a start to estimate the value range
