Unstackable ELs

Hey there,

I'm pretty sure I already made a thread about this, probably on GwGuru back at the time..
Anyway, my friend got back into Gw1 after many years (8+) and he got some ELs from 6th birthday presents. But here's the thing : they don't stack with each other.
I always stacked all the tonics I had, but for his tonics it doesn't work with any of my or his tonics, I'm not sure why.

Did it happen to anyone else? Did he find something extremely rare worth $3,541,685,165,174? (I told him he did so you better save your money for his tonics!)

Edit : Oh and here's another weird thing : 2 of his tonics stack but the rest don't. (Of course I'm talking about 2 of the same kind of tonics stacking)
Edit 2 : All tonics are from 6th birthday presents, none from vouchers. He traded all his vouchers for 7th Bday presents.

that's indeed a bug, we've talked about it somewhere in this forum, can't remember where exactly :p
tonics are supposed to stack, but sometimes, they don't for unknown reason.

yes, I recall having this discussion before.
Not sure why they dont stack, but I have bunches (with 70 characters..yeah, I got doubles, triples....) that stack while others do not---as I have not gotten any from exchanging vouchers (8+ years bday gifts), they are all from 6 years birthday. (was actually happy when I found out that they DO stack!).
I have had similar experiences when exchanging vouchers for 7th year gifts---some of the gifts stack while others do not! A bug I assume which like all the other bugs, will never be fixed (nor explained).

i had some years ago, but a day, they stacks, dunno why.
