I apologized if this may have been answered before but I have been looking and I am not clear on the subject. I am trying to get points for HoM and I am looking to unluck mini's. How does one go about finding and unlocking mini's? I'm looking for either bunch of common or some rarer and unique ones.

You can get minis via birthdays presents or trading with other players (see https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Miniature)
If you ask in kamadam you might get a lot of common minis for free or for very small amounts...

This is Nightfall's capital city, where people generally go to buy and sell items in the game (US Districts).
