• Currently in Maatu keep and would like to get this quest and the one after to farm outcasts. The wiki says the quest is preceded by Sunjiang district, but do you actually have to beat it for Lexis to give you the quest? I'd rather just run to Cavalon. Assuming you need Sunjiang, does anyone know if it's possible to gate glitch into it? Thanks.

    Hi,

The prerequisite for the quest: The Halcyon Job is to obtain the minimum reward for the cooperative mission: Sunjiang District.

The prerequisite for Sunjiang District is: Boreas Seabed. But... You'll need to check 2 things: I think you can accompany a player on the Battle in the Sewers quest to reach Sunjiang District, to avoid the City Under Attack quest after Boreas Seabed. But that won't change much... (Note: the quests between cooperative missions don't generally count as prerequisites, they're just there to show us geographically the way to the next cooperative mission. In many cases, it's the previous co-op mission that's the requirement).

You can't gate glitch to reach Sunjiang District. It's a drawbridge with the bridge raised (no animation), not a gate and only a dialogue with the pnj is possible. This dialogue cannot take place without checking your character's status with the server (ID Dialog). Just as entering UW or Fow is not possible with ID Dialog, without the prerequisite of ascension.

You could imagine doing ID Dialog on the pnj who gives the quest: The Halcyon Job, maybe there would be no verification with the server, but that would surprise me a lot and it's “bad” :p Not to mention that you'll have to find software other than TB++ for this (the .dll prior to version 6.23 no longer work since the migration of the compiler to VS 2022)... So that's all i can say, and i wouldn't recommend it...
