hm. that one is a dilemma.....as we cant drink our water here not having running water would not be much of an issue (ok, a bit, but) no a/c....right now the temps are in the 40's so really not an issue (had to turn on the heat!) and a few years ago the motor died on the a/c so we went a whole weekend (in the 90's outside as well as inside--live on 3rd floor) without. (grabs dart)

cooking or cleaning?

breaking down into color, er...there are some really good white colored cheeses (can you say gorgonzola?) as well as some good yellow ones (its a gou-da cheese).....so hard to pick! (but seeing as my allergy to swiss cheese and its color being white) yellow.

(wanted to go to culinary school....cheese sauce is easy! make a roux: equal parts butter and flour 1T each; melt butter add flour until a ball forms....add milk 1 cup, a dash of worcestershire sauce, a sprinkle of nutmeg and a squirt of mustard--more if you use cheddar. cook until thickens...add cheese, a cup grated (or more if you like it cheesy)....stir and pour over pasta, fries, etc).

turkey dinner or ham dinner?

bad idea, but what can you expect from engineers? (dont think they EVER take classes about geology or useful stuff).
