Just curious to what extent, if any, do rits play a role in speed clears? Any type (doa, uw, fow, soo, etc.)

Rit has a long standing role in the main team of uwsc, also speeding up dhuum through buffs and spirits. That's the only dungeon or SC that rit plays a role in (in the meta).
in DoA there are some off-meta team builds that includes rit as an ST-bonder (Backline) or spiker but to play these builds you must be an experienced DoA player. Rit can be played in BogsSC and a good enough teams you can always squeeze in an off-meta role.
But, tldr: Rit is only used in uwsc -
That’s about what I figured. Enjoying the class again after 15ish years away from the game and wanted some end game content to do.
