I'd salvage the cele stuff for dust (sword is iron/steel tho)
Nothing worth saving from the merchant on the rest, except maybe the insightful head.
In general, for mantid drops keep an eye out for 20/20 matching attrib cele staffs or to a lesser extent cockatrice staffs, and shields with 2 max inherents (especially +10 vs demons with -2wE or +45hp wE on a tactics shield). Singlemod shields from prophecies and factions you can't add another mod to.
For other stuff look for the inherents commonly most used like 15^50 or +5e
