I saw candy corn selling at 17e per stack, while people were buying single pieces at 2-4e / each.

the 17e per stack sounds reasonable, buying these in single pieces makes no sense. usually these are sold per stack. during / shortly after the respective event the prices shall be the lowest, especially when you buy in bulk.
