No ones baiting you, you're just baiting yourself. You may have a baiting problem. Don't play with it too much, it will fall off.
Any item "worth" 1750a is going to be worth more than that. For instance, the bow itself will buy you far more than 1750a ever will.
If/when you decide to sell it, I would just say something like "armbraces not accepted, only offers in the thread will be acknowledged." That is what's going to get you the most interesting/valuable offers. Anything less is daylight robbery. Please don't be disillusioned by the "collections" (often lacking in both history and presentation quality) of some of our local botters, some of whom have been quick to introduce themselves, or any offer they give you involving armbraces.
Armbraces are largely worthless and become more worthless each day. It may also be worth noting, if you're not yet aware, that virtually every rare minipet you could want can be freely obtained via quests from https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Merrise,_Sworn_to_Seas as of the 20th anniversary.
I see a lot of accusations and entitlement here. Just because PhD can't afford anything that costs significant armbraces these days, does not mean they shouldn't be sold to us "poors"? It also doesn't mean that all the people bidding are botters either. I never understood the philosophy you are presenting, it seems anything you would be jealous about not getting, is immediately categorized as you shouldn't sell that! Yet, you still occasionally bid on the low hanging fruit with armbraces....
That said, you can use a reputable trade moderator for anything larger than 1750a and 100plat
