I don't know the exact distance but from what I experienced in pongmei from starting at boreas it is about three to four compass ranges until the first possible chest spawn. Smaller maps may have a closer distance to the first possible chest. Even tho this game is over 16 years old, we still don't know everything. Just explore some threads here.

Today, someone in my alliance chat stated, that he had zero chest spawns while vanquishing Maishang Hills. I was answering in alliance chat that this is just impossbile. A map of this size has to have chests. After some minutes of discussion we both were still defending our statements. I am sure, maps of this size have chests. Especially Maishang Hills has some nice corners with pop-up…

The good thing about Pongmei is that nearly all canthan skins can drop there as you have chests from jade sea, echovald and kaineng includig plagueborn.

Paragon Ninja Q8s just drop in NM and dont give treasure hunter title progress as the chests are not counting towards this. So your fact with the q8 is irrelevant as post creator wanted to combine 4 titles at the same time and running q8 chests does not progress treasure hunter title.

i bought a q9 version of this for 25e. dont know if that was cheap or not but i would say it was a fair price. this would be 10-20e maybe.

HM Pongmei is fast (maybe one of the fastest) and can get some nice skins.

As a basic information: if you use Toolbox to open the chests you can safe even more time as you can skip the purple drops.

I usually finish a run in 3-3.5 mins with 3-5 chests. The chance on gold unids in HM is overall good.

I dont see any/much value in these items. Most have non max or unwanted mods/mod combinations.

But I would gladly give you 5e for each wayward wand.

One gold unid would have been enough for me. But ill take it.

Did you already thought about auto-conset through Toolbox? I see many accidental consets through this function as people tend to forget to switch off this function.

Besides that, humanity is stupid and will always do stupid things. You can think about it for hours or just ignore it.

Just one sprinkle towards your economy point of view: consets are not the only reason for the games bad economy. But it's already too late and no developer cares about the game anymore too change these things.

And really last statement: gather mats for consets through normal gameplay is - besides the feathers - totally possible. You just have to know what to salvage and HOW to salvage things efficiently.
