If flatbow is feathered skin then it's 35a+ imo, if wooden then I agree with Red.
Longbow I agree with Red.

So after a very long time of chasing after a item, today I was finally given the chance to make a offer and the rest was history. Thanks again Hairy Knight for the epic shield and a special thanks to MaxBorken for the meme. 😎
Behold the newest scary face shield to the collection.
Congrats on one of the best shields in the game (in my opinion atleast )! You actually had me log in just to check mine wasn't gone haha, couldn't remember the gold value, just knew it was 2xx We should have a playdate sometime btw.

No it does not sadly, which is why there have been multiple scams/attempts where people claim to sell non-insc tyrian serpent axes and then swap it out for a canthan.
-
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Serpent_Axe
The wiki actually shows quite well how the canthan and tyrian version differs, the easiest way being how it looks dyed.
The blade is also longer/bigger on the tyrian version.
As Moon said though, to my knowledge all insc versions are Tyrian by default

Like many of you, I have been inactive from this game many times. Sometimes I leave for months. Sometimes I leave for longer. But always, inevitably as the tide, I come back.
For me, this year was an especially meaningful return. After nearly half a decade of neglect, Guild Wars received substantive updates and, like a phoenix, our community rose to embrace it. I have been awestruck by what I have seen: a newly revitalized guild, an active trading scene, new collectors, new builds, new items, new spells, and new (and returning) friends. I have seen a community more active than it has been in nearly a decade. The flames of passion have been reignited--for all of us--and boy, do they burn hot.
As such, I thought it would be a fitting tribute to dedicate the latest addition to my little collection--a Q9 Fire 20 HCT / 19 HSR Celestial Scepter--to its namesake, the fiery Celestial Phoenix! Also included below are several of my favorite 20/20 and 20/19 sets and some Q8 inscr. offhands.
I could not have acquired this small little collection without the support of my incredible guild [PhD], and my friends Kabong PyroLobster Gentleman Xander. Each of you helped make the above collection possible. Thank you all so much.
And to everyone in this community--this passionate, bright, quirky, frustrating and beautiful little community--thank you for making this amazing game what it is. I hope the fires of your passion burn forever bright.
, as always, and may the light of the Celestial Phoenix shine upon you all!
Yuko [PhD]
I believe you're missing one

Not sure if it's a treat or not, but while taking my new para through Factions I got this drop from a canthan chest at a weird (or not?) location. First time seeing a Luxon drop from Shenzun Tunnels, the only foes near me where Afflicted. Have I just missed something and they actually drop from those chests frequently? I knew they could drop from Canthan chests in Pongmei Valley, but first time seeing them in Shenzun Tunnels.
Learned something new today

You're asking people to decide if they should believe an answer to a question they asked. I hope you can see how that's a problem.
Yes I'm asking people to deal with the information they receive as they should do with any information they receive in real life, no matter their ignorance of this particular topic.
Here's an example: If you walk up to five jewelry traders and ask them what your grandmas old diamond earrings that you inherited is worth and they all respond 5$, would you straight up believe them? Or would you go to other jewelry traders and ask the same question, maybe google some, check other similar items worth etc.?
Another example could be: Your grocery store suddenly tells you that $5 bills are only worth 1$ now in their store, do you believe them and act accordingly without questioning? Or do you go to the store manager, check with the public etc. to verify if this truly is the case?
In the end it all comes down to how much the person asking is willing to do in order to verify the claims of the people responding. If you really want you could do quite a bit to really get an accurate price yourself, but that all depends on how much time and effort you're willing to spend.
If they don't want to invest any time or effort, then they can choose to blindly trust each and every word. If they want to get to the bottom of their question and get an as accurate price as possible, they can scroll through all the previous sale threads in here, approach other players themselves ingame or via PM and ask etc.
I will assume that every person here atleast can make that decision themselves. If they end up being ripped off then good, that's a life lesson for them and they will most likely not do that again, so they learned something new and came out richer in experience. That's how life works.
I mean let's be honest and I'm sure you agree, it's common sense and we could atleast expect that much from each other.
That's why I say in the end the responsibility of the outcome lies entirely on the person asking. Nobody is holding them hostage using gunpoint, they make their own decisions.
-
I'm so tired of all this bitching. What is there to argue about? People give their own opinion and the person asking decide themselves what to believe/make out of the information they received, end of story.
The responsibilty of the outcome lies entirely on the person asking in the end, that will never change, ever. And yes, some people will try to give themselves a favorable outcome if they can, is this really news to anyone? It happens everyday in real life and it has been happening since the start of GW/Guru. Dunno why people start bitching about it now to be honest. Only difference is before people used to brag about the good deals (rip-offs if you wanna call it that) they made openly in this thread, and got applauded for it. This is not teletubbyland where everyone is holding hands singing kumbaya, nor has it ever been.
I respect all the people involved and consider many my friends, but this need to stop now. If you have personal vendettas or whatever just take that shit to private messages.
If you want to price check, just give your own opinion if you have one and then leave, that's all there is to it. The more the better, since that gives the person asking a wider perspective when they decide what to do.
And of course the opinions you might receive does not always reflect current market. Then freaking sticky a message stating "This price check may or may not reflect the current market, so keep in mind that the suggested prices may or may not be reached if you do decide to sell/buy the item." to every single post in the Price check forum no matter what. That way it's always shoved up each and every persons face everytime someone post anything in there, making it impossible to miss even for the oblivious.
