    todeshand did indeed have a few r8 zodiac bows but he was hacked, and his collection was lost. I happened to find the hacker selling them all in Kamadan, and was fortunate to be able to repurchase them for Todeshand. However, as Todie had retired, he allowed me (after checking with him first out of respect) to auction them off to other collectors. As a result, EK ended up with a few of his r8 zodiacs. Whether any were stance I cannot recall, but the relevant threads will still be in the guru archive if you can be bothered to search.

    Well, if it can still drop, it isn't pre-nerf.

    Some Inscribable weapons can drop without their inscription slot. There are a couple of folks who collect them even. It's not common, but it does happen. An r8 gold naked crystalline would be pre-nerf, as r8 max crystallines aren't possible any more. I don't think r9 crystallines (from the halls of heroes chest only) can drop without an inscription slot.

    I had that with my +5e OS Crystalline Sword. When I found out there was another with the exact same stats (req, inherent mod AND gold value) I was so suspicious that I might have been hacked I rushed home to check I still had it!

    At least your skull shield is /hexed and mine is /enchanted ;)

    Those are some very fine shields indeed, Tyrant. Some of those mags are very valuable but that skulll shield has piqued my interest the most. How long have you had it?

    I never bought it after carefully reading players' reviews and I'm very happy I didn't. In my opinion guild wars is perfect, and any attempt to make a sequel would sully that. Sometimes a sequel should never be made. Like Speed 2, Teen Wolf Too, Grease 2, any of the Fast and Furious fiascos, Blair Witch 2, Son of The Mask, etc etc.

    They should have left alone and kept Guildwars sacrosanct. They tried too hard and by all accounts missed the point of what a sequel should be in favour of a money making machine.

    Once again, thanks for the bids. A few shields are going well and are possible contenders to be sold. But most aren't close yet, especially the big ticket items. The low req and super rare shields will need a lot more bidding.

    I'll put buyouts up in a week or so, but they come with a condition. I will only split this collection up if there's a general sense that most of the shields have satisfactory bids. If you take a buyout, you are agreeing that I will only sell you the shield if that general sense is met. I simply will not sell a handful of shields if the majority haven't met their reserves. This is a chance for you to own awesomeness, and I do not need the cash. Bidding low isn't going to help you here. I do not need to sell any of these.

    Let me see you want them, and avoid little overbids please. Most have a long way to go.

    Why? You mean apart from the obvious "to a collector of the skin" answer? ;)

    Red collects towers and defenders. One of those is rarer than the other in the same stats I'm sure, and the skins are identical.

    However you'd have to find a collector of both skins for that to make a difference.

    Based on my highly non-scientific research, i'd say that the Aegis skin is rarer than the sotw. I have seen far more stow than aegis pass through my hands with dual reduction mods. That could be the mods however causing it. It's certainly the case that in pre-nerf terms the aegis is rarer. Perhaps they evened out the drop tables in later years though....

    Greetings.

    The time has come for me to slip further into the shadows of my retirement. And as I do, I would like to offer you all the chance to take ownership of these uber-rare shields. This collection has been a labour of love for me for many years, and I do not take this decision lightly. I have been considering this move into deeper retirement for over a year, and the time is right to step away.

    I would encourage anyone interested to offer here either by posting in this thread or by direct PM. I will consider all offers, and update as necessary. These won't be going cheap however.

    Very obviously there are huge numbers of armbraces involved here, so there is a very important rule:
    I will never go first if the trade is higher than 1750a. You will always go first and you will not receive a single shield until you have paid in full. I have been here long enough not to have to exaplain this further. My reputation speaks for itself. If you don't like this then don't bid. No exceptions.

    I am prepared to sell individual shields. I worked very hard indeed to assemble this collection. I am also quite happy to take these into my dark retirement so bid properly....

    This sale is not a quick one. It will last a few weeks to ensure everyone has an equal chance. No shields will be sold quickly, and buyouts will not come for a long time, so don't ask.

    I reserve the right not to sell for any reason, and I will not split my collection up for a series of small low bids.

This is one of the most impressive collections in existence, and it should be respected accordingly. I will only split this collection up if there is a general sense that prices have been met. I reserve the right not to sell anything even if some buyouts have been met. This is my sale so we do it my way.
