For me, there's always been one item--above any others--which I hold special and closest to my heart. That is, of course, my Q9 20/20 Fire Celestial staff.
Although, strictly speaking, this was not my first OS fire item, it was the one which truly kindled my flame. I used to run a dungeon and mission running service and distinctly recall running numerous people through campaigns to raise the capital to afford this (450e, back then, a fortune). Following lengthy negotiations (and leveraging a promise of future purchases to the seller (Z Split)), I haggled the price down and was offered a choice of two staves, both with tumultuous histories. One had belonged to White Wasabi; the other, Tramp Ollin; both were notorious players for their own reasons. I chose Wasabi's, which had a higher gold value.
And, just like that, I was hooked and my collection was born.
For me, this has always been the most perfect item I have ever owned; not because it is the rarest or best, but because it sparked my passion for this game and its incredible community. I can safely say that without it, I would have quit long ago and probably never come back.

Any unconditional for sale would be worth 100s of armbraces easily. The only items I can see being in the same category of rarity or value would be things like Dwarven Axes, Crystas, Swamp Clubs, etc.

I think you’re referring to Fallen Seraphim // Hero from Serbia in old GWG.
Great stories in here. The guy who held onto the axe before it went to Kromp/Kabong logs on from time to time. And I think he still has some of those GG items, including a Q8 20/20 fire staff if I remember correctly.

Like many of you, I have been inactive from this game many times. Sometimes I leave for months. Sometimes I leave for longer. But always, inevitably as the tide, I come back.
For me, this year was an especially meaningful return. After nearly half a decade of neglect, Guild Wars received substantive updates and, like a phoenix, our community rose to embrace it. I have been awestruck by what I have seen: a newly revitalized guild, an active trading scene, new collectors, new builds, new items, new spells, and new (and returning) friends. I have seen a community more active than it has been in nearly a decade. The flames of passion have been reignited--for all of us--and boy, do they burn hot.
As such, I thought it would be a fitting tribute to dedicate the latest addition to my little collection--a Q9 Fire 20 HCT / 19 HSR Celestial Scepter--to its namesake, the fiery Celestial Phoenix! Also included below are several of my favorite 20/20 and 20/19 sets and some Q8 inscr. offhands.
I could not have acquired this small little collection without the support of my incredible guild [PhD], and my friends Kabong PyroLobster Gentleman Xander. Each of you helped make the above collection possible. Thank you all so much.
And to everyone in this community--this passionate, bright, quirky, frustrating and beautiful little community--thank you for making this amazing game what it is. I hope the fires of your passion burn forever bright.

They're crazy rare. I have had many over the years, and sold many. I sold nearly all my straw effigies and all my jugs. I have always loved fans, so I still have a very good set of them.

Q7 Gold Paper Lantern (has anyone seen another Q7 Gold max Lantern?)
Honestly, I think these multi-caster off-hands are the rarest generally obtainable Guild Wars items. They are followed by multi-caster wands. Class specific offhand can be really are too though, especially single attributes. I believe Paper Lanterns are some of the rarest "non-rare" skins in game.
If I had to "order" Canthan multi-prof offhand rarity, I would probably say it goes: (1) Fan --> (2) Effigy --> (3) Jug --> (4) Plagueborn. Of course WOC farm and botting probably has changed that, same as Canthan staves and wands.

Still 20 sec cd on a bond that's not worth keeping up for more than 6 seconds ?
Make it like 5sec cooldown and we can talk about it but as it is, it's meh.
The monk one might be actually useful as an aoe knockdown in Urgoz to replace deep freeze, if the team is well coordinated though .
But then again, a 100B warrior running MoP can solo spike every single urgoz rooms if the ennemies are balled soo...
Yep. I tested it out and even with Ele Attunement its bad. Its more or less the same damage output as standard Ele Attunement, but it cause crazy high overcast.
Maybe ANet will make it less trash? Who knows.

The revised Ele elite might be usable if you bring Arcane Mimicry and run an Ele hero?
The overcast spam is dangerous but it might let you bring lots of powerful mid cd nukes to replace incendiary bonds in a standard Ele Attunement. Still Probably unusable though...

Ranger Perma Buff Dmg + Health Regen + Para perma Buff +6 Attributes on all chars if you got enough shouts on heros ... what can stop us form physical way xD
THINK ABOUT THOSE BUFFS ON A LEVEL 30+ dagger skills DAGGER SPAM WARRIOR WITH PERMANENT IAS???
The warrior one is BEYOND bonkers.

Perhaps, but its strictly worse than the Mesmer one, isn't it? Exact same effect, effects all allies, no downside? That's insane.
Also the Paragon and Warrior ones seem ridiculously good. -

Well boys, I take a month off and the collections thread just explodes. Sad I missed the flame— GLAD I saw the hammers.
Also, that that briar blade and oaken combo is one of the freshest posts I’ve seen.

50a is a hell of a lowball imo. At least 150 I’d say and that is being pretty conservative. I get Ikkis reticence to PC high here but imo it’s so clearly three digit armbraces

What skin is the hornbow? If its Mursaat changes price significantly.
Agree about the Falchion. Imo at least 150-200a, unless multiple have been sold recently which I don't think they have.
The triple mods are entirely special. Frankly, I think the Truncheon could be ton, but might languish in the 25-50a range because of lack of interest. Going just on utility its one of the nicest items in GW history imo. Also rare. . . In terms of active triple mods there are very few, I think something like 30 by my last count?
I'd be wary before trying to sell online! I'd recommend auction on guru . . .

Imo at least XXXa. Nagas are close to the rarest bow in game and 15/-1 is amazing.
Run of the mill Q8 stormbowa go for 50a+.
Just don’t sell to PM or in game if you’re interested in not getting ripped off.
