Hi all,
This service is offered between 07:00-09:00 and 18:00-00:00 (UTC+1) from August 25, 19:00, to September 1, 19:00 UTC
I'm offering a Wayfarer's Reverie quest running service for individual quests/campaigns (pricing below), or 215e for all 4.
Price is per person but additional accounts (i.e. alts) come at 33% discount.
Campaign Duration Price Full* 120 mins 215e Wayfarer's Reverie: Tyria 45 mins 90e Wayfarer's Reverie: EoTN* 30 mins 60e Wayfarer's Reverie: Elona 30 mins 60e Wayfarer's Reverie: Cantha 20 mins 40e *The full or EoTN runs do not include the Shiverpeak Bloodstone. I can run this separately for a 40e surcharge (approx. 20 mins) per person (same discount applies for alts). This is a full dungeon run with the Eldritch chest at the end. I will take a maximum of 3 characters at a time for this.
This service requires semi AFK (e.g. watching streaming services or playing on alts is fine) because players need to be able to /resign to make the process quick.
If you want a full AFK the service, this will cost 125e per campaign or 450e total, as the duration required is almost doubled without /resigning.
I intend to wait for a minimum of 3 "customers" (this can be 1 main + 2 alts) before arranging a run - ideally I would go with 7 "customers".
There are 2 x 4-/6-man locations in Tyria which will require a team split - I will accommodate this with additional runs to these locations.
Please reply here if you are interested – please include details of the time(s) that you are available and include your IGN for in-game messaging.
If I get substantial interest I will arrange bookings.
Cheers
Dev

p.s. Why would you want this service?
Completion of the Wayfarer's Reverie quests gives you "Proofs". Once you have all 4 of these Proofs you can exchange them with Fylinn, Sworn to Winds for one of the following items:
- Everlasting Legionnaire Tonic
- Legion Loot Bag
- Legionnaire Summoning Crystal
- Miniature Legionnaire
- Reverie Gift (only available as one of the items that can be chosen if your account has never received a Reverie Gift before)

Ben Bowied Yeah I'm seriously getting bored with this conversation now too. I'm so pleased now Shaya has decided to weigh in on the conversation with another opinion. Great. *yawn*
i mean ofc you arent botting, but you are abusing a system, that is ran by bots, which makes you part of the problem, no?
It's not my fault the current HA situation is as it is. I play HA with the intention of fighting other real players. I can't help it if bots are present. Based on my personal contributions, I am playing legitimately. There is no other option for someone who wants to max their Hero title nowadays. Of course, the title does not represent anymore what it used to, but one can still play the game fairly to obtain it. If people are so disappointed about the devaluing of the Hero title then they should direct their anger towards the people botting, not me. The person I originally complained about was a botter and cheater by his own admission and, for the record, I find it very odd that more people seem to have an issue with me for just playing the game than with the person who was actually cheating and botting, boasting about it, and celebrating pissing other people off *shrug*.
That's the last I'll say on the matter.
In an effort to try to move this thread back to what it is actually meant to be about.............
Nice little bonus from Iron Mines NM just now whilst farming for proofs
-
Blind Was My Fury Agreed! Shame I have to spend my time teaching some random about the definition of legitimacy That's how Guild Wars treated me today!
-
So it’s reasonable that noobs like you can farm a title in a dead game
Yes, because this is the only remaining legitimate way to do this.
While it’s unreasonable that someone farms your ass with an alt ?
Yes, because ganking is considered match-fixing i.e., cheating, and therefore illegitimate. Botting is also considered cheating.
Hopefully me spelling it out for you helps you now to understand? -
So it’s reasonable that noobs like you can farm a title in a dead game even though their skill ceiling is below that of a no rank pug team from 2010 ? While it’s unreasonable that someone farms your ass with an alt ?
It sounds like you're the one crying :')
-
What you mean legitimately?
legitimately
adverb. le·git·i·mate·ly li-ˈji-tə-mət-lē : in a legitimate manner : according to what is lawful, permitted, appropriate, or reasonable.
As I have already said, obtaining r15 is not the same as it used to be. However there are still ways to obtain it legitimately, rather than cheating. -
Bump.
Grab a Bargain. All going to Merch within the next week if there are no more bids.
-
So you getting fames is the same as him, equally undeserved 🫠
You come across a little delusional. Are you saying there's no difference between cheating and use of bots, versus obtaining the title legitimately?
Of course the way that fame is legitimately obtained nowadays is different from back in the game's prime, because it is far less active. But that doesn't preclude one from being able to obtain it legitimately, and hence deservedly.

Would you be interested in either of the following (both OS):
q13 (Tac) Echovald Shield +10vsDemons ReduceDaze20%
q13 (Tac) Celestial Shield -2/Stance +10vsOgres -
Bump, thanks for bids so far!
I said I'd end any auction by 2 weeks and it's been at least that long. I'm satisfied with the bids that have come in on their respective items so please PM me here or in game when you see me online and we can arrange the trade.
Any outstanding items I'm happy to sell on a demand basis rather than run auction style, as there clearly wasn't a huge amount of interest... -
Fun little bonus from level 5 boss whilst collecting some Scorched Lodestones for Nick

My absence.
Permanent I hope. Good riddance. Bye, Felicia.

Ha, yep, just make sure to ID it first, which also increases it's value ! I guess the rare salvage rate is low (not seen many stats on this), so probably makes more sense to sell instead, but this was a fun game of chance!
Superior salvage kit make it 100% - but ID first to get a chance to get 2 in once
Yeah I just learnt that it was 100%, always thought I was lucky lmao

Fortunately what overshadowed your cheating last night was the far more positive and overwhelmingly wholesome experience I had in HA. I had the real GW experience by meeting up with a player who I'd never played with before and just met for the first time - someone who is actually good at PvP. They invited me to join them to get Halls. After being ganked by you and once you had got your cheated title and left, we made it back to Halls. I won my first Halls victory! It was a really fun experience, made by the generosity of strangers. That's the proper way to play this game and that's what defines for me the true GW experience. I'm genuinely looking forward to spending the next 1-2 years earning my r15. So gg, jokes on you buddy.
-
I chose today to finish off my 40th max title and managed to piss off the right number of people along the way.
Guess it's just a shame that you had to cheat and bot to get it, either because you're trash at the game or are too lazy. You never properly earned your title.
You held Halls last night by ganking on real teams with your botted alt account and had the brazen audacity to admit it (picture as proof below), and then flaming on the people who were rightly disappointed in your cheating. How embarrassing for you. You're the scourge of PvP. And you were stupid enough to post it here so as to be publicly outed. gg. Now everyone can see you're a cheat, a botter, and just down-right nasty.
I'm guessing you botted to get all of your collections too? Sad. Some of us still play this game genuinely. Others like you just work to ruin the experience.

I am a big fan of Josh Strife Hayes and in particular his classic "Worst MMO Ever?" review series - rest assured for those not familiar with JSH, he isn't actually saying GW is the worst MMO ever!
Here is the video: Worst MMO Ever? - Guild Wars
I hadn't watched this video before and although it's 2 years old now it's still as relevant as ever (of course because GW is timeless!). I left the following comment on the video, as a lot of what JSH says in his review made me reflect on why I found GW so entertaining all those years ago, and why I still do:
"...having been an avid GW fan and player since its release, what I find that resonates with me most of Josh's criticisms are actually the things that for me make GW great and that I wouldn't change. The fact that you don't get quest identifiers to take new quests, the fact that you aren't told where Merchants are and thus don't know quite initially how the navigate the towns, the fact that you don't get told where to find specific items that crafters want, the fact that you have to painstakingly craft your builds and attribute points and test them out one instance at a time, the fact that you don't just get easily told about weapon comparisons; that "this new weapon that you have acquired is X better than your old one". These are exactly the reasons why as a 13 year old new to this style of game I found the experience completely immersive. Yes it was challenging, at times irritatingly so, but ultimately that made it all the more rewarding. It meant that I had to fully invest in the game in order to do well. It thus built a depth to my knowledge of the inner workings of the game that made me feel like a professional player (even though I was trash). Looking back, had there been all of these "Quality of Life" additions, it actually would have made the whole experience much too easy, and much too surface level. If I were to go back to Guild Wars as a 13 year old today, I wouldn't have it any other way. Still playing 19 years later with >9k hours on my account. I have a wife and a professional career now but GW remains a huge passion of mine and will do forever. Its my escape that I come back to time and time again. I'm so grateful to ArenaNet for maintaining this servers to this day and hope it will continue forever."
I'm curious to know from others here - what was it for you that made you fall in love with Guild Wars? -
