And furthermore, why is it so goddamn hard to find a semi usable OS shield drop? Out of all drops I've had there was one shield that I'd use on my war, even though its Q12. Seems rare enough to even get a shield with two mods, but getting one that's actually usable has to be the equivalent of winning the lottery
I'd appreciate any advice!That's perhaps the main reason why in 2005 the green shields Grognar's Defender, Thorgall's Shield, Tanzit's Defender, Victo's Bulwark, Malinon's Shield were so expensive, since they were weapons that drop with perfect stats, and the Carapace Shields from the collectors Hagnon Warblade/Yorik Warblade in the Snake Dance were the another alternative.
I don't remember playing with OS shields back in 2005 at all, I think I always wielded random shitty shields until I was able to pick the Emboldened Carapace Shield in Snake Dance, and time later I bought the Victo's Bulwark. And I only used the Grognar's Defender or Malinon's Shield while farming minotaurs.

I remember i farmed these two chests back in 2005. I know exact spots of these two, but i assume we need scr shoot for proper and regular update. I can tell it droped various weapons from white to gold. Sadly no rares for me back then, cause of few days i had to farm them. This one was in Dreadnought's Drift.
If you can mark with a red dot the places, that would be enough (unless you have more images, or the one that you posted above without being cut xD)

We know where this one spawned. Why do we need exact location?
It was to update the wiki, because there was no information regarding the spot or what skin the chest had (in this case with your screenshot the skin is confirmed, it's the regular wooden chest).
I've been updating the wiki with unimplemented, deleted and removed content since 2022 or so and finding the Lost Strongbox and Frozen Chest skins and locations were two of the tasks in my list to update the articles.

Tips for getting high quality screenshots?
4K screen, using GW Toolbox with the /camera unlock command and /cam speed 99 to go slow, with the interface clean (Control + H) with this settings: https://imgur.com/a/hR5VMx8
Once I have the raw screenshots, I edit them in Photoshop in this order:
- I fix the background light adding +10 points in Blue inside the Color Balance submenu (Control + B).
- I normally add +10 or +20 points in brightness (Image > Adjustments > Brightness) depending the situation.
- I sharp the pictures with 2 options, "Sharpen" or "Unsharp Mask" depending the situation (in the submenu Filter > Sharpen).
- And sometimes: when an image has a lot of light in the raw screenshot, what I do is overlay a copy of the original. On the top layer I keep the modification with increased light, on the bottom layer I keep the original screenshot, and then I delete the remains of burned light from the top layer with the Eraser Tool (setting the Hardness between 0% ~ 20%), so the final photo keeps the augmented clarity but without burned parts.
