Basically all what Marty said, but instead of thinking about it all the time, just craft one weapon of each type and switch them when you need it. Combinations are unlimited. Regarding using always the same builds from time ago, I do the same and there is nothing wrong with it, when you get used to a build that works well and you are comfortable using it, stick with it (I still using the Toucher for example).
Same with Wand+Focus set, in my case I have a full storage panel with this:
Wands HCT 20% / HSR 20% (x4)
Wands Energy +5 / HSR 20% (x4)
Focus HSR 20% / HCT 20% (x4)
Focus HSR 20% / +45HP wE (x4)
Focus Attribute +1 20% / +45HP wE (x4)
Focus Attribute +1 20% / HCT 20% (x4)
I also have some 10/10 and E5/10 sets, but those are taking dust because I never use them.
Same with staves, at least 5 combinations of each one for Elementalist/Mesmer attributes (I don't play Monk or Necromancer, but I guess it's the same for them). For Ritualists is a bit different due their rituals and weapons, it's the exception.

Most Wikis don't even have the info, but I used to post about it on Guild Wars Guru back in the day.
Recently we were talking here about updating the Wiki with screenshots of the prenerf greens vs. current greens, if you show me your version of the item in a trade box to take a screenshot in good quality, I will update the Wiki with both pictures as soon as possible.
By the way, the Wiki has no information regarding unconditional weapons neither, should I create a new page? Because I think it should be in the Historial content section as many other deleted or removed things.

it seems quite special to me that the same skin on the same req accures with diffrent DMG-types
Like we have 3 Onyx Staffs all on ES but 1 with Cold dmg and 2 with earth. Or does ES come randomly in all elemental DMGs allways on all staffs?
Now that you mention it, I think you are right, the Energy Storage comes with all the elements, because I have one Q11 and this one is Lightning damage.
That was new to me. Overall i know some skins have diffrent DMG types. i wasnt aware that even same skin and same attribute can have diffrent dmg types. Maybe also some Monk staffs can have Holy dmg or Fire ?

I had many upgrades for staff in the storage and based on Bluey pictures I crafted a defensive set for the fun (with the Onyx Staff, that adds visual endurance).
(I don't know if this is useful somewhere or not though)

Spent hours tonight farming this Dom staff
Congrats, this mtfckr also exhausted my patience when I went to farm it, I don't remember how many times I killed the Mesmer Construct.
Sometimes I don't understand the drop ratio of the greens (the spoon was the worst of them all though, I have Vietnam memories every time I remember it).

People usually give those for free because there are hundreds if not thousands in the game. The last time I tried to sell an anniversary white/purple tonic was for 1k and no one whispered me in hours. I also did a giveaway in the !All chat in the middle of Kamadan and nothing again. And same with the miniatures. Maybe you have luck and someone clueless buys them.

This is, as far as anyone can say with any level of certainty, the only gold, max dmg, req 8, 15% unconditional weapon the game has ever produced.
In that sense, it is the single most perfect and historically important item in the Guild Wars universe.

I don't remember exactly how many time it took to me to reach the Crystal Desert or Southern Shiverpeaks for first time (regarding the removed chests) but it was not fast, at least 2 months of playing (many reasons why it took so long, long story) so I admire how people, in the born of a game pending to be discovered and labeled, was able to reach in 1-2 weeks a very difficult place in its time to discover this. I would have loved to have been part of that, more as an observer/historian than a collector, I really like stories like yours about these things.
