Name and shame, protect returning players from potentially being ripped off.
While I agree to a certain extent, returning players should shoulder some responsibility as well. Take time to learn the current market and proceed accordingly.
When I came back a few years ago, I did not do that, as a result I sold a good many items cheaper than what they were worth. I have/had to take ownership of those mistakes.
Thankfully, I kept back a number of items that wont see the light of day , unless in a setting of guild mates.
When I see returning players in game looking for PC's , I encourage them to come here to ask those questions.

I did post it on another thread. Half the thread was nuked in the ensuing tussle.
But I understand the conversation was completely off-topic in a price check thread. Hence why I wanted to have this conversation in a different place. The name and other evidence has been purposefully omitted here so we can have this discussion without moderator intervention. But the person in question has been identified, admitted to it via PM so there's no uncertainty in this particular case.
My question loops back to. This person's Reddit account, goes back years and years and is littered with personal information. When this person contacted me, they claimed I was at fault for breaching their privacy on here in such a public way.
Any privacy in regard to a public setting is surrendered by the person.
There is no privacy in such a situation, they've surrendered their rights, at least according the Supreme Court.

I dont know what GW3 would entail in terms of game play . I do know I got tired of grinding multiple currencies after each new story was added in GW2.
A redo or modernization of the original in terms of graphics, the addition of a market like GW2's , for selling and buying and the addition of a dodge feature would sell me for another 19 years on GW1.
I'd be in if it was something like this, GW1 was always the better game IMHO.
I agree, it took about 8 years of playing GW2 to realize it though. There are aspects of GW 2 I like a lot ,overall GW1 is just a better game

I am posting this here as it speaks to how GW is treating me (mods please move to another discussion if needed).
I recently discovered that 2 of my collection storage accounts that were both created from the beginning of time were updated to have 2-factor authentication, which I did not setup. Unfortunately due to the age of these accounts, I no longer have access to the email addresses so I know for sure I didn’t set this up.
I created a support ticket however having struggles getting their support as they say they can’t change that setting.
I have since heard from one other player that this occurred to them as well. Has anyone else discovered this?
If so, did you have access to the email allowing you to still log in?If you didn’t have access to the email, did you also put in a ticket?
I would like to encourage anyone who had this happen (even if you could access the code) to report it to help others who can’t get this resolved.

So I was able to change the email accounts on the two that were screwed up. They wanted IRL name , shipping address, account creation date , keys( which I have no idea what they are) and some toon names. I went through this before so I was able to get info I needed from previous emails. They said they were delayed cause they were busy, so it may be happening a lot.
