Only way to prove to someone else that someone has tyrian serpent without handing it over is to go out on explorable area, let other spectator die (so he cant pick items up while dead). Then person owning the axe drops the axe and while its on ground u can see the dye, size, gold value and mods all at same time which cannot be seen in trade window. This was used back in the day when serpents were on market more often. Best of all if also have canthan counterpart to drop nearby and u can actually compare the size pretty well.

Yes they exist. Cleans still Drop and with dmg mod glitched from mauseleum in 2010.
I bought & later sold clean scythe maybe 3 years back, that some guy had dropped. But other than staffs are very rare

can but only staves anymore afaik. I think they fixed all the other weaps dropping in no in insc.
Ppl irregularly show me clean nf/eotn weps that theyve claimed drop recently, i do think they still drop just super rarely.
Personally never got other than staff tho, i think staffs drop like thousand times more xD
