it's gold.max q8 shields that are generally at 2a+ generally, max q8 foci would be more like 50e, and max q8 swords more like 20a - ofc all depending on the skins as well - and goldleaf is neither the ugliest nor the least useful attri

indeed - I'm still on the hunt for my first 11/3 gold inc tower shield across istan - and that snowman is the one lvl12 eotn mob I'm aware of... so far I had quite some insc q4s but none q3 - and definitely no shield 11/3. good thing is: if you drop a gold q3 shield it will at least be max 100% of time

they are max stats for their req, which makes them perfect in a technical way. spears are then used in sc occasionally to boost the damage output with autohits. this is not really a big impact but it is about getting things done absolutely fast so it's a bit like tickling the last bit of HP when tuning a car - and just like there there is money for those things.
the shields are much rather just a collectors thing and there are some that want a set of all skins - and the woven is rarer to drop in those stats.
I think this covers the most relevant points.
edit: ah well - and on the other side they aren't too coomon to drop in max for q0 and you need to know where to look for them.

I see even after years of gw you learn about new skins
- didn't know such a valueable insc staff existed - beside the known BDS ofc... trust others on the cobalt staff and ignore my pc concerning that one

the pre bow mod is pretty much worthless - 5k-1bd if you find a collector that wants one
the others I'd merch vaabian defender and plag axe might also fetch 5e.
