    you should much rather make a post in the collections section displaying your treasures! a list this long won't be a manageable size for a pc thread.

    q8 15^50s can go in the 15-50a ranges for the more standard skins and up to 5000a for the really rare ones (crysta)

    q7s like your cele swords are no compare and especially the 15^50 and 5e versions will get huge interest. I'd see them sell for 1000a+ easily

    on green items there are a few pre nerf versions that are subtle to detect - ask Unholy or check his thread - he is the expert

    q8 +5e are more sought after on one handed items (axe, sword) and less sought after on twohanded than the 15^50 versions

    just let us feast upon those screens and post the in an own thread in the collections section for them to be preserved.

    oh one thing: do not sell anything to a pm for a great sounding price. there is stuff from the old days considered crap then worth tons now. the crysta mentioned is in the 3000-6000a range, standard q8 15^50s go for 25-100a, a q7 perfect hasn't been sold in a while but core skin ones with 12-14% damage modifiers went for 100-300a. so if I can advise anything - don't sell to any pm requests before putting them for auction - in case you intend to sell. if you have what you announce you might as well buy a new car for it. looking forward to seeing something ;)

    I could be mistaken but wasn't the +5e mod not available on OS items until a couple months after the release of Factions? The order for their availability would've been HoD sword > Rajazan's Fervor (factions release, april 2006) > Totem Axe (Prophecies, added in June 15th 2006 update > other OS items. Is this not the case? Is my timeline for the OS addition mixed up?

    The availability for them would've been only a few months before Nightfall came out. The late release of that mod is the explanation for so few q7 +5e swords and q8 +5e prophecies swords.

    Edit: That said, I've not seen or heard of any caster dwarven axes (or equivalent skins).

    Edit 2: Saw your note in the other thread about the Jan 2017 HoH update. That would give it a few extra months past nightfall, but the main question for me is when the mod became available in the first place. If I knew at some point, I've forgotten.

    great input - the point of this thread is exactly to clarify those! I can not remember myself when exactly what was added and for the list rely on the update notes on the official, the fan and the german wiki. when exactly the 5e was added I couldn't find out precisely yet. I know that it must have been before the HoH droo change 2007 jan 19th since this was the latest source of os gold crystas and we see them in 5e. also found forum entries with pics from december 2006 and I'd also argue it was before release of nf on 2006 Oct 7th, since obviously there are some q7 caster swords (and q7 was nerfed latest with release of nf - but the change on reqs wasn't specified on the public notes and since it is not an obvious change like "collector sword xy was changed to yz" couldn't be instantly noticed. it is fun to read forum entries from short after nf release concerning the matter "ofc they do drop. why should they not." "I've had a couple max q8 and also a q7 drop, but I already sold them" and ofc no one could post a screen. retrospectively funny - anyways... XD)

    the big req nerf and the addition of caster mods are likely two of the most important notes on this topic and not clarified 100%...

    your timeline is interesting - it would narrow down timeframe for the addition of 5e

    doing research on the content updates I found that caster crystas were possible drops from the HoH chest for at least 9 months - and not even a handfuk have emerged from that. But since Dwarven axe dropoed there just like the crysta... does a caster dwarven exist? (any req, os)

    alright I found the notion of the relevant update! actually it wasn't with nf release when inscs started dropping from HoH but actually 3 months later! I added the info on my content update list:

    a question coming with this... Dwarven axe would also have been possible as caster drop from there for at least 9 months whereas I've never heard of one... so... does it exist?

    I am aware of those other effects of the update I written them in the linked thread - here I just quoted the section relevant to the matter. the parts in bold are those that need clarification, so the point of prenerf 12/-5 ones would be very interesting since that'd mean they didn't come in the same update and hence were added earlier - maybe they were present since day 1? and just the caster mod was added? but yeah that's a different topic - we should discuss in the related thread. coukd you post a pic of a 12/-5 gold one?

But I do not even know if the gold versions dropped there uninsc? can anyone clear it up? if my theory is correct - until when was it a possible drop?

    quite an update: I finally reached 1/3 completion! what a marathon this were gonna be I´d have never anticipated! 10 years and 1/3... knowing limited exponential growth it should take just another millenium or so until I am done - and that is just phase one - I´ll add the prognosed time frame for the phases in brackets.

    #1 get all mod combos (1000years)

    #2 get all mod combos in max mods (10000years)

    #3 get all mod combos in max mods and desireable req (13,9,8,7) (100000years)

    #4 get all mod combos in max mods and desireable req (13,9,8,7) both as Tower Shield and Defender (1000000years)

    #5 get all the Tower Shields and Defenders (to infinity and beyond!)

    sounds realistic - eh? just please all vote for ANET to not shut down servers too early! Especially the step up from #3 to #4 seems astronomical - since there is barely any supply of Proph Defenders and Factions Tower Shields respectively - since the main farming spots are Nolani and Winds of Change - in HM respectively, where the Charr only drop Towers and the Purity guys only drop Defenders. But what am I worrying about - still 100000years until I´d face those problems anyways^^

    I hope to be able to assemble some of the highlights, but really it is about the number...

    You can see this is 305 of a total of 915 mod combinations - exactly 1/3. 205 different Tower Shields and 196 different Defender (os dualmod). On top there are some - let me reemphasize "SOME" *erhm "duplicates" - meaning higher req, different order of mods and so on, a whole lot of fun ones (who can have the heart to merch a blue -1ws 16/8?) and of course all the inscribable ones! At those I am at 60 Tower Shields and 51 Defenders - separating into 40 Towers 16/9 gold ins of different value and 20 Defenders respectively - plus the others all in different rarity, moddability, armor or req.

    And after those... still around 40 that I need to sell since they are actual duplicates.

    Hope it helps as a rough guide as which to merch and which to put for sale

    there have been various update in the early months of gw that changed drops drastically. This left many old versions that can no longer drop. With time passing those still accessible are available at numerous amount and for little money so that the old stuff - whilst not being better in any means - is just significantly more rare and hence desireable - and the rich players need something to dump their money into. All this shifted the market in a way that things you'd merch 15years ago today is worth more than the pricyest items still dropping.

    As I repeadetly want to check the exact wording and dates of certain fundamental changes to the game, I thought I'd start a list here to share with everyone.
