position 1-5 are very valueable - do not sell in a hurry to any pms even if the offer seems extraordinarily high to you. IF you'd consider selling these definitely take your time to look around and get different offers, ideally put for auction.

Just in cas you are unfamiliar after all the time:
1a = armbrace of truth = 50-60e depending on the time
1e = glob of ectoplasm = 8-10k
1k = platinum
Check kamadan chat for the current rates especially for armbrace to ecto.

I'd see the troll catching quite some interest, 5-10a maybe more even. The other two are pretty similar and I'd see them catch ~5a.
Best put them for auction and see how things go - magmas are pretty rare in os dualmax so the price is pretty variable.

They are normally always customized on acquire. However due to a bug or an exploit that existed a while back a handful of uncustomized versions of these weapons exist, and these can be used by people who don't own the bonus mission pack. Not to mention they're fairly rare so they have collectors value too.
Think it was just the standard after introduction, that they were uncustomized, which was fixed very soon due to obvious reasons (anet couldn't sell that many bmps for rm since the exvlusives would have been commonly available).

numbers 10,14,18,23 are worth auctioning, the others are pretty much merch (the time required to get them sold wouldn't be justified by the money gained)
In more detail:

18 ~40e+
23 ~10e
The others can be occasionally sold for few ecto or salvaged mods could. But tough sales for the main part.

if you came back to the game after a long break, likely you might have some items in your inventpry that might not be able to drop anymore. These can be worth loads. Advice on these items: do not fall for pm offers that seem high, but list them for auction on the forums - or at least post the on the PC section to get some idea.
The easiest as money/time method is getting nic gifts - but it is limited by the number of accounts you have. Usually you can get n * 15e / 10min where n is the number of accounts you have. Buy the nic items from players (not on monday, but rather toward friday - when the initial demand has faded and more ppl started farming so you'd have an easy time getting them. Usually the nic set goes for an ecto or so (depends on the item). Then pack all accounts into one group and run to the spot and store the gifts. Once you have a stack you can sell easily - often fpr higher price than individual gifts. The spot to trade stuff like that is kamadan - putting them on forum isn't as helpful for high quantity, low price, common items like that. Forums can be used if you have huge quantities to get the best price (the ppl buying save a lot of time sitting in kama, trying to buy small bunches of those items and hence pay more)
Other than that the ways to make money include:
1. farming (Wind of Change - "A Chance Encounter" is one of - if not THE one - most profitable (ask youtube or forums for instructions)
2. Speedclears - DoA if you want something reliable, SoO if you are more into the lucky segment.
3. Vanquish services - tough to find customers but can be good money/time if you know what you do.
4. Dungeon/elite area runs - to add a little extra if you have a good team you can take along on your speedclears some customers with a good extra money. Requires skill and a good team usually.
5. Stock market type of action. Requires funds to invest, but minimal time input. Buy common resources at times of low cost and sell at times of high cost. More speculative approach: ecto/armbraces, more reliable: items that have predestined price fluctuations: birthday cupcakes, wintersday gifts... But you need to know what you are doing and it is no fast profit in the second case.
6. Powertrading. If you know the market very well, the customers with odd items to buy - you can make good money. And by good I mean very good.
Hope this helps as a starting point - and I don't think this is 100% complete, accurate, fault-free - so anyone may readily add to this
EDIT: Zaishen quests are usually shitty money/time. Only do those quests, that can be completed fast - or if you want to go for the vanquisher/guardian titles anyways. If one is rushable you can do the maths - but usually it's only profitable to offer running it (and then might actually be good the day the quest is out - since many customers are around)

it is during titan quest defend north kryta. The drop pool of chests is linked to the mobs that the chest spawns with/is linked to. Hence the magmas shield is to be expected near the titans there and confirmed for the southern shiverpeak titan quest as well as the shown hm version. Yet the chests in the nm versions in maguuma jungle and kryta resisted combined efforts to prove one dropping.

not sure if this is confirmed by someone else ... but it does exist as a chest drop (Hard Mode) , and it sure gives hope for normal mod in lower reqs hopefully.
Ther have been rumours... over and over... yet combined efforts to my knowledge didn't yield anything in nm as of yet. We'd all love to see that 15/7 magmas being a possible drop!

I dont understand, why in req 6 for scythe there is not max in 9-dmg, I need to compare what is better if 9 or 10, because I try to get my perfect q6-q7 scythes in the way.
also there is new record for q11
The 10-35 is just better in both ways than the 9-32. If there is one like 9-36, then I'd add it since it wouldn't be obvious as to which to tag as higher damage - those are the cases where there are two entries for a req

Damn thanks for the great input - seems like you are onto a good farming spot for low req scythes! Indeed scythe spear and dagger are not as complete in their values, since I do not farm fac or nf really and sinse those other weps drop everywhere. Thanks a lot for all your inputs!
I don't think the q6 is a new record - we got a 10-35 there at max already and a 7-15 as min - so that one is in the range.

not really. Singlemod os (os = oldschool = mods can't be changed) shields are almost always best off to merch. Occasionally some enthusiasts are gonna take singlemod ones for some ki d of collection - but you wouldn't get rich then either...

no. That was never possible. The -2wS mod was a category by itself and hence could drop with other damage reduction mods. Hence all dualreduction shields have the -xwS as one of the two.
Concerning the other parts of your post: as long as we do not know the mechanics of items stats generated there is no way to tell if one or the other is more likely just because one of them has more potential outcomes. So we'd need some serious statistical efforts in order to determine those.

I have done an ungodly amount of research on q8 insc swords and cannot find a modern drop of where a wyvern could come from. I know one exists and I’m not writing off the possibility of more, but I am unsure
Ha! I'd love to see one drop still... I seen it drop so rarely that I'd be confident to say that no human could ever track for what mobs would drop it and hence where it might drop in q8 - a community effort or some luck by a mindful person would be the ways to go. Just think about the sunqua blade talk - and the rarity of a dusk blade compared - might as well be, that we are looking at something similar when talking about wyverns... idk

I double the q8 20/20 paper lantern, also a q8 14^50 crysta from kilroy is still possible. Or ofc the evasive Guardian of the Hunt q8 -5/20 +30, q8 15^50 Dusk Blade... q8 insc wyvern blade (not sure if still possible) q8 insc colossal scimitar q8 insc elemental sword.
As for another approach: a 11/3 gold dualmaxmod os shield. Preferably a tower shield -2wS 10vsGiants or the likes.

The wikis list shing jea wildlife as drop source, whose only member in the lvl 17-21 range (needed for q8 max nowaday or q7 back in the day - so lvl 15/16 won't help) is the bog beast (according to wiki). So far I didn't get one drop there - even though I did just a hand full of runs since it is terribly slow. Ironically I had a sunqua from a dragon lilly right next to it in my firat run
Secondly two wikis list luxon chests as source. Whilst that doesn't generate max q8s that means that some mob nearby would be able to drop one - I didn't check what mob that'd be or what level they are, nor if it is true after all. Nice topic
