Today I finished caravan vanq, and these are the only decent drops. Well, the wand is also "nothing to write home about" 😉, but it's the first time I got OS earth wand with HSR 20% (even if air magic), so that's progress. 😁

I decided to test both Silver Vaettir and Statue of Lyssa. I have two accounts. With one I went to Temple of Lyssa in Mineral Springs and with another went to get Silver Edge, because I haven't gotten it yet with this account. In both cases I entered the zone before the favor was activated and it both cases it was activated successfully while already in the zone. So it means that it works properly and there is no need to rezone. 😊

I made the videos to provide additional proof. To make it an evidence based gaming. 😁😋

The first video goes for a bit more than 10 minutes while I was wating for the favor to activate. At the beginning in the chat you can see that there was 1 title left before the favor and how long I was in the map. You can see the statue changing starting from 9:55 minute.

And in the second video I was getting the Silver Edge. Before that waited for more than 2 hours at the location where Silver Vaettir appears. Unfortunately Spiritual Possession made it hard to see, but you already know how it works. 😋

It was a fun experiemnt, so thank you for the ideas!

Hi everyone! I have been wondering about this for a bit and also read the wiki, but couldn't find the answer, so, decided to ask here.

What I noticed is that favor often isn't at all "favorable". Sometimes it is VERY favorable, but sometimes I notice even a decrease in "quality" which restores after the "favor" is over. 😅 It is particularly noticeable with opening chests, because I play with heroes, and it's not possible to see if their rate of gold drops has increased.

I get that this is random as well and also depends on the instance. Sometimes the instance is pretty much "unlucky". This is where I would appreciate some clarification.

I don't use TextMod. But I noticed when doing bounties with others, that some who do use it have all the chests unlocked with drops near them.

So my question is, does it mean that just like with unidentified items where the mods are already there, we just use the kit to reveal them, the same way with chests, with every instance the items are randomally assigned to each chest, and we just use the lucky/unlucky roll with the lockpicks to open the chest? Or is there a true random element when we open the chest, and it's not only decides if the locpick will break or not, but also randomally chooses the item with each opening of the chest?

What I would like to know is if the favor begins when you are already in any particular area, doing chest runs or vanquishing, would it be beneficial to exit the area and enter again, or it doesn't matter and drop rate of rare items should increase regardless? Thanks! 😊🌺

Hi everyone! Would appreciate price check of the following items. I checked the forum and Kamadan as much as I could, and realize that OS items are probably merch, and insc items can be given to heroes. But maybe there is something that I missed, and it can be sold for some ectos. Maybe it is worth to salvage them for mods and that's it? Please let me know. It will allow me to have a better idea next time if to keep items like this at all. Thank you!

Today GW gods smiled at me. 😊 This story could fits into the "noob mistakes" thread. Some time ago I got Q9 Chrysocola staff. And even if I did a bit of research and searched for prices. for some reason I didn't see anytihng concrete. And so I sold it in Kamadan for 5e. Only later I found out that Q9 can be 100e or more.

Oh well, won't be the first mistake and probably not the last. 😅 But I was hoping to get the staff again and this time not to make the same mistake again. 😋 So today Prismatic Ooze was the last ZB I wanted to do before the end of ZB bonus. And I got 2 of those. 😀 They are not Q9, and the attribute isn't ideal, but I probably will be able to sell them anyway.

This was a tad frustrating day, because I was trying to do Wajjun Bazaar vq, but couldn't do it properly. Apparently I have some quest or quests active, that render most of the foes either missing or friendly. Will have to research it and try again.

But the favor was favorable. 😊

They mean enough materials for all 5 gifts. For example, if Nick wants 3 shards for 1 gift, a Nick set is 15 shards. 😊

Yep, I also once got "treated" by him. Don't remember what I was trying to buy or sell, but he said a ridiculous price. And yes, it's surprising that anyone still trades with him. It's possible to wait a bit and get more sain and honest traders. No GotTs or anything else for him, that's for sure. 😉

I also share a tad amusing GW oddity. I was standing at Cantha finale with two characters from different accounts. As you can see, even if the angle of the screenshot is a bit different, it's possible to see that their standing positions are reversed. And I didn't move them. Why this happens, I have no idea. 😁

Not a loot, but experienced a weird glitch. 😊 It's quite possible that you also saw something like this. Today I got access to my old account from 2006, and opened a bunch of birthday presents and vouchers. So this green bone dragon mini pet from the 7th year gift voucher appeared as a bona fide 1st level (mini) pet. 😁

It looked this way only in this particular instant, and when I logged in again, it appeared as a regular non-level mini-pet.

If it's a merch food, it's still possible to get 1-2 ectos on some of the modes and inscriptions.

Just did zb on my war and got this. It was a love at first sight! 🥰 I swear that I am not a bling-bling girl in real life 😅. Well, mostly. but GW definitely exposes this side of my personality.😋 Alas, it was a very short affair, since it's tactics. And unfortunately I can't even plan on it to be my next "beautifying" purchase. Why, GW gods, why, this shield doesn't have a strength attribute. 😥

Yesterday I was playing in Kryta and was on International district, and the ping was really high. This is totally strange because there was no one in the outposts with me, not even bots, and it is International district and not America.

Indeed, it seems like only UW scrolls can be sold. You can check on Kamadan Trade Chat for prices. Look for UW scrolls or Underworld scrolls. Unless these are FOW scrolls. In any case, even if you would sell 1k per scroll, it would still give you some ectos. May be able to sell for higher.

As for Wayfer's marks, you'll have to wait until Wayfer's Reverie in August, and then people will buy a stack for 1-2e or a bit more, or at least that what is possible to see from Kamadan Trade chat.

And yep, leave the pcons for yourself. 😉

No problem logging in, but there IS a serious connectivity issue when entering and staying at Kamadan AD1. Ping is extremely high. Which is strange because last time I was there, there were only two A districts. Other locations, like Embark Beach. are ok.

Just a note that I am still a relative newbie, and even on my main char have many areas that I haven't visited yet. So my noob mistakes are still work in progress. 😎

Anyways, one that comes to mind is when I was trading in Kamadan and saw someone looking for an imp polymock piece. I had one. A white one. The one you get for free. And due to my noobness I didn't realize that the guy was looking for a gold one. 🙈I was even surprised because he was asking for a hefty amount of ectos. So I quickly went and got the piece from the storage and showed it to him. Good for him that he noticed and cancelled the trade.

For me it was an embarrassing noob moment, and for him it probably was a "someone was trying to scam me" moment. 😅
