I only collect q8 15-21 swords myself. I have seen some Q8 14-21s sell but usually they are more rare skins.
Unfortunately, there isn't much value in this particular skin for q8 14-21, unless someone else responses or reaches out to you, this one may be merch food as well.

Thanks for sharing. Q8s of other damages may still drop when Max DMG is unable to.
This is still intriguing to see from a Kourna Treasure. The additional way to verify if a q8 max can drop from a chest if items with a unid value around 30-32 drop (if I am remembering correctly). Red Fireball can verify this statement.
what about vabbi deso and torment treasures?
Similar to the Kourna Treasure chests, these have not been proven to drop q8 max items or have a low enough unid value to drop q8 max items.

Even though the event location is in pre-ascalon, you can't access this quest from pre correct?
Meaning, you don't actually end up with gold items on a pre-character...?

Q8s can drop from the 1st of the 3 chests only and all three of those skins can drop from the keyless chests.....

I will clarify the question regarding low level golds....
In "Post" only, Level 12 foes are the lowest level that can drop golds, this is the only level that can drop q3 golds, which are very rare but still possible today, both Insc and OS.
Keyless chests in "Post" only drop Purple items. These are the only chests that can still drop OS purple versions of skins that are known to be prenerf for golds (Crystalline Swords, Dwarven Axe, Serpent Axe (Tyrian), Krytan Axe and Dwarven Hammers). There is also a rare chance, nearly impossible but possible, to get a purple q8 Magmas, Eternal and Summit shields.
Lastly, Gold items (other than charr salvage kits) do not drop in "Pre" as of today.
