There are only two server locations iirc; America and Europe so it doesn't matter too much which District(s) you're using since they'll be running from one or the other.

Yung_Rocks noticed that in the GW Store there had been a reduction in some items. Reddit Thread.
Guild Wars Complete Collection | Online RPGThe award-winning original Guild Wars games with a rich story and deep character customization. Explore the world and challenge other players online!store.guildwars.comYou may find there's at least a 30% reduction in the following items:
- Xunlai Material Storage [£5.99, €6.99, $6.99]
- Xunlai Storage Pane [£5.99, €6.99, $6.99]
- Extreme Makeover [£5.99, €6.99, $6.99]
With a v.small reduction of 11% in GBP ONLY (this is not applied in the Euro or USD prices) for:
- Merc Hero Slot [£7.99]
- Character Slot [£7.99]
- Makeover Pack [£7.99]
There's also been a mis-price in the Game of the Year Upgrade which is now over 260% more expensive and the same price as the Game of the Year Edition (includes. Prophecies).
To track and compare to previous proper sales I've made this GW Store Prices comparison Google Sheet.
What's strange is there hasn't been a 'Sale' announcement from ArenaNet not on Twitter or the GW2 News site like there have been on previous sales.
Since it is only on a small number of items, and with the mis-price it's possible it isn't actually a Sale and something else is going on. Back-end store modifications or something. They changed payment processor last month could it be related. I'm sure when there was some active support on Reddit in the past it was mentioned prices changes were tricky because it had all been hard-coded or something.
For reference: the price updates in Feb 2019 last time the store changed to add the Complete Collection (removing the Trilogy and Platinum editions).

I suggest you look here for some examples:

Anything that is perfect inherent and 9 requirement you can see if someone wants that skin (check the Buy section) but most of the time it is ages to sell for low ecto so not really worth it. Consider keeping/using on Heroes too.
Anything that is for Merch, also check if it is salvagable to Iron or other high value materials. Salvage may be better than Merch. Also check for any high value mods I didn't really look at those in detail.
Here is a quick review. Can wait for more opinions.

Using the mmo-population site for information about Guild Wars is 100% useless. The site is not transparent in how it gets it's data so to give it a platform in a GW video is very misleading.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWars/co…_shows/fp59xwr/
When the same site was mentioned in Reddit in May 2020 it has more explanation about where the data was from and I wrote this. Turns out it uses Reddit subreddit data to make up the stats on the site.
-My post from Reddit:
It is really frustrating when innacurate data is attempted to be passed off as facts. This site is not transparent at all.
Someone shared this in Discord the other day (10th April) and the site had a slightly different design and it was easier to find their calculation for estimating MMO numbers.
This is a quote from the site previous to the redesign:
QuoteIt's virtually impossible to work out accurate subscriber counts for MMOs today, and this site cannot do that. we do it based on reddit subscriber information. We track the current subscribers, active users and history of both. This helps you to choose an MMO that has the required "activity" you'd like to see.
Now their 'Data' page just says they use "sentiment analysis" from an AI... whatever that means. If someone could actually find out how they get their figures that would be great. The fact the url still uses the /r/ guildwars url leads me to believe it is still using Reddit data.
Before the site was just pulling Reddit data analytics and showed how popular a games subreddit was, not the game.
There is no way that any of the numbers on the GuildWars page are accurate.
Anet/NCSoft has never published user number for GuildWars. The only official numbers come from sales of the game.
edit:
Here is what the site used to look like, unfortunately web.archive only got data July 2019.
https://web.archive.org/web/2019073006…com/r/GuildWars
The About page as it used to be: https://web.archive.org/web/2019052112…ation.com/about
QuoteExposing how it works
We measure two primary metrics: Reddit Subscribers and Reddit Active Users.
Magic number: This is the number taken from averaging out the biggest and most recently known public subscriber and daily player numbers vs reddit subscribers.
MMOStats also doesn't publish where it gets it's data from to make up these numbers. So to pass them off as even possible accurate data is incredibly misleading.

Yep, you can send me a message or mention me in the thread, or drop a message to cosyfiep if we miss a thread that needs closing.
We try and check most days but sometimes can be busy or not able to check. Thanks for checking the rules and asking the question.

Just noticed this post on reddit, couldn't see the item mentioned here.

On the Watched Threads List view, would it be possible to include the section/subsection of the forum that the thread is from? In addition to the title and other information already displayed?
https://guildwarslegacy.com/forum/watched-thread-list/
It would be useful to see which section of the forum each thread is from without having to go into each one.

A developer got married during the development and put this as easter egg.
Ostona seems on the money, it was the same answer given by a Wiki user in 2011.
The Lakeside County Talk page has the same question asked in 2010.
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Talk:Lake…rt_on_a_rock.3F
Unfortunately the question looks like it prompted it's removal from the list of Landmarks on the wiki page, but an answer followed that is still unverivied I guess:
- One of the programmers or designers working on Prophecies got married during development and this was included as a memento. ~~ Large 13:45, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
Going through storage and have a bunch of non-inscribables. Wondering if there's any guaranteed value.
I pick up on some things from reading all these threads but maybe some collector I've missed.
(I've already checked Cash's thread and I don't think any of these q9s are wanted there.)
Thanks for the guidance.
A - Maybe something decent for A4? Not expecting XXe for the others.
B - Batch two I expect are all Merch/Salvage. There's some clean Zodiacs and "undesireable" combinations.
edit: Ended up selling B2 and B3 together for 40e.

It might be the same issue as in this thread: screenshot
Seems there's some antivirus that can block the game writing to folders.

Very awesome. Nice finds and thanks for sharing!
Those early screens are so funny to look at now. The Skill Icons etc.
I started to do similar some time back, particularly using the Internet Archive to go through guildwars.com as it was in the day to save any media.

Hi, I've got several that I've been holding in storage. Drop me a message if interested.

From what I understand of the General Meta Hero Builds for the 4th DPS it's Mesmer (requires Mercs), then Bone Fiend MM, then Elementalist. I don't know how much difference there is between the last two though.
Even with half that team probably getting through most PvE content easily enough. -
The build wasn't replaced with the Mercenary version, there had always been a Mercenary version with more Mesmers.
The build was replaced and consolidated into the Offensive Mesmerway that you linked as there had been multiple 7-Hero Team Builds created on PvX and various people worked on consolidating it into one new build page now named "7 Hero Offensive Mesmerway".
It combined the BIP Caster Support and BIP Melee Support Team builds into one Build Page with small variation.
The suggested Meta Team build is now the "7 Hero Offensive Mesmerway" (with alternates for Melee & Caster) as you linked: https://gwpvx.fandom.com/wiki/Build:Tea…nsive_Mesmerway
Or if you have Mercenarys it's the "7 Hero Mercenary Mesmerway" also as you linked: https://gwpvx.fandom.com/wiki/Build:Tea…enary_Mesmerway
You can probably find more details on the Talk Pages of the various builds as that's where the discussion would have taken place.

"You can purchase up to nine additional panes through the Guild Wars Online Store."
If you have a Xunlai Storage that looks like this then tabs IX, X, XI, XII, XIII mean you have Xunlai Storage Panes than are not available and must be purchased from the Guild Wars store.
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Xunlai_Storage_Pane
What you're saying doesn't make sense because you can buy the panes that are greyed out.

1. For the purpose of maxing the Drunkard Title you no longer need to wait for a level of drunkeness you can just 'spam' the items to use them. If it is for something that requires a Drunkeness Level in the game then all they are is last a bit longer. There's no way to see this in-game, you could use the Drunkard Effect, and Grog has an Effect Icon but other than that it's still the same as it used to be. Or there's the 3rd Party Tool GWToolbox+ which can show the effect and time I think.
2. They added More Xunlai Storage panes a few years ago so that you can buy more in the Store. When you bought something from the Store check first that you didn't already buy the Xunlai Material Storage Expansion as it can be easy to mistake the two and it isn't as visual in the Xunlai until you add >250 items to your Material Storage. You can check the Keys on the Account from the character selection screen.
-
Yes it does. Same with all the Vanguard skills.
" This is the only title skill that provides a benefit outside of its campaign, since it can be used against the Charr in Ascalon. "

This is why threads like this are generally avoided, because they just end up with people arguing over is it, isn't it and it decends into a flame fest. Keep that in mind for any future threads like this.
Everyone should do their best to be alert and aware of how to conduct trades to avoid scams.
Double check the item you are being traded, the person you're trading with, always use the Trade Window etc.
While we don't have a rule against these kinds of posts, we do against flaming and will close threads that are not giving any value.
GW Legacy has no control over what you do in-game and with whom, your trades are your own responsibility.
