so as far as hourglass reqs are concerned, from what ive seen they seem to be primary attributes only. which would be in line with the pre-order item. or has anybody seen other attribute reqs?

I can confirm this. The new items cannot be salvaged. Toolbox does not provide any information on this either.
These are my best drops so far.correct me if im wrong: the only way toolbox knows about salvage materials is if it has been written down somewhere i.e. the wiki.
have any of the former bonus weapons been salvagable for mats?
if not, and, since i have been able to salvage lesser stoneblades (former pvp skins) my theory is this:
the former pvp-only skins have been turned into weapons in the game like normal, while the former bonus weapons have (unintentionally?) kept their unsalvagable nature as a remnant of being bonus weapons.

I've installed Guild Wars on the Steamdeck, but there are no community layouts available. How do I need to rename it in Steam to find SamCW's layouts?
I don't have the solution, but for clarification im assuming that you have a Guild Wars install of the game that you did not buy through steam.
Basically how to get (official/community) control layouts for a 'third party' game that also has an official steam release available?

it is 1 off unfortunately but maybe you can still get a little money for it since it's new.

i remember way back when i farmed for event drops, now with the event item overload farming for weapons is a hassle
very true and also pcons are 30mins now so farming them becomes really worthless
what should make them more valuable made them worth less

now the big question: are those decade skins also available as drops?

I have tried GW on the steam deck briefly, it runs very smooth obviously because of how old the game is.
my biggest issue were the controls, but i havent played around with it much and it was before the recent official controller support update.
I know also that GW is not demanding on your network connection, so steam deck wifi will suffice without a problem.
So yea, as bsoltan said it boils down to controls and how you like them, which is somewhat subjective.

Staff min 10/3/4-6, 11/5/5-8, -/-/----- Does this lign means that min for blue is 10/3/4-6 and min for white is 11/5/5-8 ?
blue means blue/white, white means purple (it turned white from a change in formatting on this forum i think) and gold is gold.
It is a bit misleading, it used to be purple
