Returning Player

    Hi All

    After watching a stream the other day of some Guildwars players which to be honest I didn't think the game would still be running I got a sudden want for nostalgia. Took me some time with Arenanet Support to get my accounts back as I no longer had access to the previous email addresses for them. I forgot how long its been since I logged in. Just started back in presearing with a new character and will play all the storys in order but already remember why I love this game, haha.

    Since I have been away so long I have no idea if any on my stored items are worth anything, I have lots of miniatures, Green Items about 30 Birthday tokens and dies, although most of the dyes I have are on a presearing character, can they be brought back into post searing? I cant remember.

    Anyway just thought I would pop in and say hi.

    welcome back :)
    Minis are only worth something if rare, just a few out of BD presents.
    If u have any old weps you might want to list them for price checks on the forum, before selling ingame.

    Stuff from pre can only be brought to post when moving a toon out of pre.

    In an effort to expand upon the ever-growing knowledge base surrounding "pre-nerfs," I have put together this list with what is currently known about pre-nerf green (unique) weapons.     This is a very helpful list for seeing if your greens are worth TONNES!
    If you aren't into collecting stuff like variant versions def check to sell them.


    Don't exchange your vouchers if you can help it- wait for a buyer and the mini's as stated are mostly worthless purp is very common, but white ones might sell just to fill halls.

    But its chump change compared to some good pre nerf greens, so don't delete anything- check heroes etc.

    I think that is the most important thing.


    Oh and don't move stuff from pre to post before checking, dyes are kinda worthless but black (in pre) are worth like 12-14k pre gold, but in post 1k nothing else really keeps value but the runes can be worth 1-6k minis/tonics in pre are worth more but still not huge amounts unless rare, its best to check.
