I wanna run drok like they used to do, i remember spending hours @ beacon perch trying to get a good runner who wouldnt scam me or ragequit mid run or ending up with an afker getting all of us stuck on a respawn.
Anyone know a guide or remember the exact build? i think they used to run gladiator armor with lieutenant insignia sup absorption?
I wanna learn to run Drok as a vanilla gw wammo

There was no insignias at the time, they have been introduced into the game at nightfall release

Why not run as derv or assa? Way safer and quicker.

"Originally, before the introduction of insignias under the old armor bonus system, this bonus was only available in Prophecies for warrior characters with access to Henge of Denravi, where a Lieutenant's Helm (with an armor level of 60) could be crafted by Alemeth, this is likely the reason for the Armor -20 penalty on top of the 5% damage reduction."
With that being said I think it's fair to use a Lieutenant's insignia while remaining true to doing it like they used to do.

thx i didnt realise the helm was coming from a non-max armor area, i was wondering why it had -20AR and was worrying if i could do the OG run still.
I remember we used to have knight or ascalon boot to reduce the damage, is it still viable? -

I could pay someone to do it as i could pay someone to cook my food or entertain my loved ones.
i don't, i do stuff on my own and i take pride in it, even tho its a stupid challenge i've never been able to complete from 20 years ago. -
everything should be pretty easy except hexes from ice golems and the small zone with the stone summit/other stone summit towards the end, make sure to maintain anti KD vs the giants and the nightmare popups with smite signet. There are also the initial ice imps with mind freeze which are annoying if you don't have anti spell. I would probably run with spellbreaker as my elite with a +5 df weapon to give you spell immunity to break aggro where needed.

here a pretty old vid maybe it helps. there were skill changes that you might want to be aware of but only for your good pretty much. I'd love to hear your progress and... good luck
OQMSE5KHdltzdrBwiusm you will have to find runes etc for yourself.
ofc if you want to give it some modern twist you could bring pve skills etc. whereas I like tge oldschool motivation behind
