Alright - this is gonna be a big one.

Here I had posted a thread similar to this one - limited to the part that matters for presearing. Iwant to extend it on here as to cover EVERYTHING considering ranges, rarities, values, odds and ends. We won´t discuss skins on here. Since it´s gonna be extensive I´ll try to keep it organized with spoiler, so you have all information if you want to, but can usually just check the relevant bits (for reference).

#1 no. for example lvl10mob: it can drop 9-15 q8staff, but it certainly cannot drop 11-21 q8 staff. on a similar approach: a lvl24 mob can drop a 15-22 sword, but certainly it cannot drop a q8 one. so you can neither say that if a certain req drops, that the mob can drop max damage for that req, nor, that because a mob drops a certain damage range it can drop lowest req possible for that damage range. you cannot even say that either of the two does apply to any given dropped stats.

#2 no. there is various restrictions: some weapons do not drop in all rarities, like tribal axe or guardian of the hunt. not all mobs can drop all items rarities - gold rarity starts dropping at lvl12 for example. armors are an entire thing of its own concerning this: for example charr armor does not drop in purple or gold except from chests... and so on. what does apply: IF an item can drop in gold rarity AND the mob can drop gold rarity AND the mob drops the item in any rarity THEN he can also drop it in gold rarity. at least for the most part. there is exceptions to this even...
