Hello everybody,
calincalin has worked on some plugins that enable us to improve the experience on Legacy quite a bit, adding several options and improvements that have been requested for quite a while.
Calincalin prepared an introduction, so I'll gladly share this here:
We're rolling out a few quality-of-life changes on the trading boards to keep listings tidy and cut down on the repetitive cleanup. Here's what changes and how it affects you.
Selling & Buying
- One bump per 24 hours. You can bring your thread back to the top once every 24 hours, either by posting an update or with the new Bump thread button (it refreshes your thread without adding a post). Both share the same 24h window, so there's no posting an update and then bumping on top of it. Early "up" replies are no longer possible. It's automatically checked.
- Close your own thread. Once your thread is 24 hours old, you'll see a Close thread button. Sold your item, or done with the thread? Close it yourself, no need to flag a moderator.
- Squash old replies. Relisting or updating a listing? You can hide all the older replies with one click (your opening post stays). Only new replies show afterwards, and anyone can still open the old ones with a Show previous replies button. Nothing is deleted, so the full history stays available.Price Check
- Auto-close after 3 months. Price Check threads with no activity for 3 months are now closed automatically.
These changes are meant to make the trading boards smoother for everyone and free up the mod team's time. Feedback welcome, and thanks as always for keeping the marketplace active.Cheers,
