Also is it normal that the game doesn't allow me to salvage this? There's so much about this games gear I don't understand lol.

Since it is Old school (no inscription) those mods are inherit and cannot be removed. Additionally, you can’t add mods to it.

As for price check, I am not sure but it’s dual mod (players love vs undead) and max and q9, so def worth something and not merch. Wait for Hate Core to come by and PC it lol.

Most of the new skins that used to be only available as bonus item or pvp skins can't be salvaged.

Exceptions are, Etched swords, stoneblades, and arced swords can be
