Hello there, I am a new player who has been playing with my brother and some friends for probably around 50 - 100 hours. I am pretty new. I was running one of the hard mode dungeons with them (can't remember which one it was) and I got a Shadow Staff. I told them what text it had on it and they seemed to think it was worth a lot, but I couldn't find any reliable way (that I know how to use) to ID the value of it. Could anyone help me figure out how much it's worth? They said to probably switch to Air Magic (I play Elementalist) so I'm wondering if I should sell or just use. My friend also said they could sell the item for me if I decided to, but I'm not sure. I also have been playing Fire Magic but it bugs me that the AI is so good at walking out of AOEs lol, so Air Magic might be good to swap if I have a strong staff.

air isnt the best attribute but this should be worth around 10 15 20a
this staff is worth something because the attribute and the first mod is matching magic, which is rare on OS staff
might be hard to sell so you have to be patient to sell it and find some one who especially needs it to have the right price out of itgl enjoy the game

Yes right now thunderclap is an excellent élite, air magic probably never been that strong in many years in pve

I don't see any reason someone would use a staff instead of a focus+wand 40/40 set as a caster, i recommend you to sell this staff wich will give u enough amount of money to stuff you and your heroes with a way cheaper and better set to play Air, this will also give u enough currencies for cons/pcons for the next 200h and rune your heroes also

Ah okay, that's what I was wondering, I was using a wand and one of the offhands. I wasn't going to play Air Magic unless I used the staff. I just don't know that much about the game right now to do all that, I will have to read up! Thanks.
