Hey all, I received a message from ArenaNet that they're going to perform server maintenance:
[font="menlo, consolas, monospace"]I wanted to let you know that our server team is going to be performing maintenance on Guild Wars starting at approximately 9:00 AM Pacific this morning. We do not expect any downtime, however players will see that they are pulling files as if there was a game update. This is a process of ensuring that our update system is working properly but there is in fact nothing changing in the game at this time.[/font]
So, that's the reason for the update
