Is the quest 'Seeking the Seer' missable?

I've completed the 'Ice Caves of Sorrow' mission, which is supposedly preceded by the Seeking the Seer quest.

I can't remember if I did that quest or not, but I keep a spreadsheet where I tick off quests I've done and Seeking the Seer wasn't ticked off.

I may have just been distracted and not ticked it off, but I was wondering if the quest's missable and becomes unobtainable after you complete Ice Caves of Sorrow?

Asking as I went back to Droknar's Forge to the quest giver and he didn't have any quests to give (this was after completing the mission).

Weird question I know, but I'm OCD about missing content! haha

So you may have done it an accepted it but that's why you don't remember seeing it in your log.

Right, so basically it's impossible for me to have done the Ice Caves of Sorrow mission without having done the quest?

I don't see any mention that it stops you getting the quest if you've already reached the outpost or done the mission but it is something that could easily be confirmed.

I think it means you may have accepted it but as it doesn't show up in your quest log in-game it wouldn't have been easy to identify to tick-off when you did complete it.

Hmm you mentioned this could be easily confirmed. How would I confirm it?

I think I did do it though, because I looked at the history of my sheet and it looks like I added the quest to my sheet when I accepted it, only didn’t mark it as complete
