Had time for a charr boss run in pre. NEVER had this amount of Purple drops. SEVEN!!! Dual Purple from Jaw with a close to max dmg fire staff. And later on got a +15% Charr Axe mod! Not that bad!

Monk AP is ok. I would suggest N/Rt BiP Resto, N/Mo Prot with Discord and an ESurge Mes.
As Ranger you could play Dagger Spam (maybe with new Elite for party wide health regen) with ST Rit/Mo (with Strengh and Honor), N/Rt Resto BiP and ESurge Mes.
You should test it. It should be worth it to bring an Essence for the VQ. It's just 2e per run which you should get back in drops. Don't forget lockpicks. Bring pcons if you can effort them.
13min is what i get playing with 7hero setup + essence. You should be a bit faster if you split. Maybe in the 10min range.
There is also a solo dervish build for MQSC. You need Conset for this but one could go derv and solo yeti and the other one is doing beach + wallow with heroes.

I haven't played in like what ? 12 years or so ?
Decided to come back two days ago and that's how the game treated me.
I don't know if any of those is valuable but at least I got something out of my good old farming session !
By the way, what does one farm in cantha these days? And what about Prophecies?
I tried some nolani academy runs aswell as Alcyon's and moss dragon
Anyway I'm happy to get back on track !
Nice drops, especially the shield.
I would just add 'A Chance Encounter' as a perfect farm for OS items. I usually farm this and Nolani during Favor of Gods. If you want to farm event items go for Vaettirs or Raptors.

Back in my FIRST days of GW i thought you cannot craft the armor pieces with the blue lettering so i just bought the white ones.

I had also issues with texmod some weeks ago. Check your task manager if there are somehow TWO copies of GW are started. I do not know the circumstances for this, but as i had this problem, i deleted all my copies of GW (had them for multi launch reasons) and just had one copy of GW left. With this change i was able to run gw in texmod again.

Is it possible to have a counter for locked chests in an area? We do have a counter for Foes so why not have a counter for chests? I am not into coding or some sort of high level IT so i don't even know how TB knows the number of Foes in an area.

Just another idea of chest spawns: Do we expect that the chest spawns are depended on the direction i go over a map? lets assume we enter an area through the same portal but in one run we take the clockwise route and the next run we take the counterclockwise route. Would we expect any pattern or are non-pop-up chests spawn right when entering the area?

Added some more Areas to the "Under Construction" part. Don't know if that kind of research makes any sense but we will see.
BTW can any of the mods please rearrange my spoiler into spoiler into spoiler? I did NF and EotN into Factions by accident but i am not able to fix that.
That may be the safer statement that chest counts are based on foe congestion versus actual size of the map. Even though Ice Dome only has 120-141 foes for a vanguish, they are in a very small area.
That's a great point of Turais, being that I was only after the chests for q8s, I didn't think about the possibility that they would be dependent on killing a specific foe, that would obviously still need to be proven but could be a possibility.
Did the Turai's VQ some days ago and did not have a seperate chest spawn with each of the single foes spawning in the middle.
