Went back into DoA and finished City without to many issues. Carried on into gloom but bailed in a trench when I caught a Mind Freeze while puling with team flagged back. Got a couple gems and another green.
Bought myself a destroyer spear to go with the future Gauntlets.
Up to 84 dcores, slow and steady. Got a few 24hr best scores which was nice to see -
I bought another toon slot to give Ironman play a shot. My question is what class should I play? My first instinct is Ranger since Ill get a pet to begin with. Is it frowned upon starting in a different campaign than Prophecies?
Monk.

Patheon week and had a little time so thought I would try my luck at FoW. Couple of shards and a scroll from the chest
Have done a few Glints runs as and when I can. Normally get 2-4 per run, 54/250 so far.
Did a little DoA and got a tormented gem (finished gloom). Will try do more at some point but its kinda scary -

Whats the consensus of the Ironman community of a level 20 toon leaving Pre to play Ironman style of play?
Violates the spirt of ironman but not the rules (such as they are)

PyroLobster How about if shit happens and I am in trouble, I could just exit game or transfer to an outpost so I am out of danger, does that work as well? In case I know that I messed up and probably going to end up dead
Mapping to guild hall always works well to get out of dodge. Purely's suggestion of doing test runs on another character is great, I did this on occasion when I was a bit worried about the content and was very glad I did.
One thing I found extremely helpful was to do lots of side quest early on for gold and xp and not race through campaigns. Being a few levels under foes + no gear/cons and non optimized builds is nasty. There seemed to be a hurdle to get over where the real survivor danger was when you wanted to start doing HM but you weren't ready. Taking your time and making slow incremental progress on gear, runes, builds was the way to get over that hump.
Other tips:
Be really careful when skill capping early on. Bosses hurt like the old days on ironman.
Do event quests
Make a plan of priorities. Heros, skill unlocks, collector locations ect.
Combine activities, Zaishen bounties for skill caps, missions, vanquishes. Where possible get carto when you do missions the first time.
Which 30 titles you going for?

What profession you going for?

Nice find, unfortunately that also means 2x q2 9-12 swords sitting in my very old low level collection are now on the hook.
It's a sad day for Q2 collections

We can all sit here and pretend we are all better than eachother but in actuality were just a community who is in the greed gutter. I think it is the "elites" that have caused us to be such greed mongers like they are, wanting more and more but still a hollow feeling of unachievement. (sounds like irl ey?)We carry on that behavior becuase hurt people, hurt people. Theres a few out here who have more way more than they need and wouldnt help you or piss on you if you were on fire. When you ask them about owning one item of theirs they tell you youre going to have to pay thousands of Armbraces for a item that wouldnt fetch 350a in bids. This is the root of why we are all so broken. This has created a blanket of animosity over guildwars collecting. A bunch of sad smeagols we are, looking for our ring.
Look inward dude. Majority of the community I know is helpful friendly and accommodating. Perhaps you hanging with the wrong people? Stop calling everyone (Including yourself btw) pursuing goals and self interest in a peaceful voluntary way"greedy". Stop being endlessly salty that you can't buy items that aren't for sale. Stop blaming others for unfavorable outcomes you are causing. Alternatively carry on as you are, keep playing the victim and continue being unhappy with what comes back.
