100% agree, I got one long time ago from naga in the cave, never got another from them since. I would’ve thought minister Cho’s mission would be a great spot considering how many golds drop there during favor but not the case. I guess if all skins were common there would be no fun farming them right?
Sadly I must admit I put around 600 hours into hm chos, yetis, tengu and Naga. Ended up get a good from some kappa after 10 or so hours
They indeed are rare. Singlemod are significantly more common than gold spikeds (l get 2-3 gold spikeds a year and l get 1 gold str wooden a week on avg - but all single mod!) . Dual mod might be same alley as gold spikeds. Also gotten only grapes from mantids btw, quite possible they can't drop them gold
I'm not as pedantic with numbers as Agent Chevy is so have no idea how many runs l make, which is a good thing as it makes possible to evade some introspection on use of my time lol
Jonast problem is yetis, beyond SV, have kd and are powerful healers, so most builds don't work on em. And l'm not ready to pop a consent to kill up to 30 yetis (before the tengu do to make it worse!) with some funky sc-esque build to test the spiked club more often from them theory. Also l've killed plenty loner yetis and they haven't produced spikeds in any rarity l'm fairly confident.
Spirit spammer in hm works a treat on yetis. They do drop a lot of hammers but I’m yet to get a spiked from them. My guess is spikes are just rare and no particular enemy drops them better then another.

Now while having an opinion and wild guesses on prices could be useful to OP? Unless your name is Nostradamus then giving him a price is exactly that. Wild guesses. Bids will determine the price of this item.
Rating of skins is personal choice. I gave the OP the correct answer instead of a crystal ball guess which is to keep or make a sell thread and let the buyers decide the price (could be 5a or 5,000a). As for botted skins, those would be bladed, outcast, echo and the likes, it’s pretty hard to find a skin that isn’t botter these days.
Rarity wise a q9 demon 45hp isn’t rarer then a q8 dual enchant in my opinion as a farmer/runner but perhaps in your instance after the botting deal that went bad you just don’t get shown any making you believe it’s worth more then majority of stuff.
As for q7 dual reds, they are the same ones just swapping hands and majority seem to sell for a loss because they need fast armbraces.

As for the apple and oranges, q8 is rarer then q9 so should be worth more. Ya I don’t get the market either, and then to think that a q7 prenerf shield will get offers of 100-250a however a q9 “botted skin” with a demon mod will sell for 200-500a. Ya go figure
