I wasn't referring to any particular source. Simply the message to which you replied. It does not refer to a particular source.
It doesn't, no. But conventional knowledge of game mechanics and process of elimination quickly narrows it down to a very small number of would-be possibilities.

Ok, but the discussion was about Q8s, no lower requirements, your negative answer was about the potential farm of q8s.
q8s are "lower requirements" of this skin than are possible from the above sources. What are you on about? A particular source dropping a max q8 of some skins does not mean that they can drop q8s of other skins.
-
It doesn't.
What makes you so sure? When the chests dropping them have q8 possibilities in NM
Various skins are locked by affiliation and by level.
Two options, in theory, exist for your assumption.
1) NM Maguuma chests near titans during "Defend Denravi."
2) The first Kilroy chest during his quest in Sorrow's Furnace.
The first option satisfies the affiliation requirement, as is standard for keyed chests.
The second option is not bound but such a requirement, as is typical for keyless chests. However, neither of them satisfy the level requirement. Tell me, have you ever seen a req 2 FDS? A req 4 magmas shield? A req 0 fellblade? No. Because they don't exist.
By your logic, a NM ascalon chest during "the last day dawns" should also drop magmas shields, at a variety of very low reqs. But they don't. And that's why you've never seen them. The above 2 sources (most likely the ones you have in mind) have been discussed before and have yet to yield the supposed jackpot. Those 2 sources are simply not a high enough level to drop such skins, regardless of what other requirements may be produced for other skins from them. Now, if you have some other mysterious source of titans or titan chests that satisfy both of these requirements that I'm not aware of, I'm all ears. But until then, I'm sure

Potentially found a farm spot for q8 Magmas, unfortunately since my 2FA ban I cannot test it out, but in theory it should work.
It doesn't.

Would like to double check some of these greens with ya. Especially Kyril's, as that may be a new one depending on the version. Many of these staves have 3 versions. Would be useful to determine which exactly they are as well.
Thanks for the kind compliments on the thread

It's been over a year since the last new find (not counting the delayed update on Gorrel's Staff). A 3rd version of Stoneweaver was recently found and a new 3-version comparison image has been added for the staff.
This leaves us with just 12 left to find for the thread

nope, just reward of quest -> The_Prize_Moa_Bird
This is incorrect. The quest currently rewards that sword with a 6-9 damage range. (nice.) Other inherent mods are the same as shown above.
That said, I wanna say I saw (several years ago) one of these with a different set of inherent mods, but my memory on it is hazy. -

I believe some of them to be 'oldschool' and 'prenerf' though I only have vague understandings of these terms.
Have a look over these threads. They spell out all the details of what does and doesn’t qualify as “prenerf,” which is an all-encompassing term for any item that can no longer be produced in game, and is inclusive of more than just old gold weapons. Various trophies, whites/blues/purples/greens, and other items like runes/mods can also qualify.

2a kepkhet (if still available and the gold version. Ignore if not)

Would like to see which version the Stoneweaver is. 10a pending that, if it’s the missing one
Calli Stone*weaver*, not Stonereaper. I have both Stonereaper prenerfs. One of the Stone*weavers* is still unconfirmed though -
For basically any weapon that’s sold, all that matters is what you can’t change about it. In this case, only the damage range, req, skin and inherent mod (15^50 for these) matter. Adding a +30 bow grip or whatever kind of bow string to either of these wouldn’t affect the value at all.*
Those mods also might not be what a potential buyer would personally use anyway, so it’s generally wasted effort.
*The only time I’d recommend changing mods on a weapon is if that weapon has a changeable prenerf mod already on it, in which case you’d usually want to separate the mod from the weapon (with a perfect salvage it) and sell the two things individually.

Have a look through these threads. Not everything has to be perfect to be valuable. Generally speaking, anything that qualifies as prenerf will generally have some value. Some more than others of course, but that’s where the auctions come into play.

That Kepkhet’s is the postnerf version and Rotwing doesn’t have a prenerf version. But check out this thread for any others that might be lying around.
