Hey there,
I found some screens from end of 2007 on my external storage !
As you can see, I did not vanquished the area that I was expected (maybe it's possible?), and I guess builds are now more easy and fast to do that !

Hey there,
Usually, back in my days (2006-2007), I duo'ed with a bonder hero all the area near Deldrimor's camp.
This area is also knowed for the chest run spot due to the high amount of Dwarves and elementals too.
I used the 600hp Monk duo with a hero, and if you have an alt account it's easier to do with a "real" player for more drops.
Didn't try it since I'm back on the game, but I was thinking at it few weeks ago to give it a try with an alt now. If I remember that was a long farm and I vanquished the zone in the same time.
Maybe this can help too.
Thanks for the share as well, yours can be more effective than mine in terms of speed and rezoning.

Thanks for your answer.
I was clearly wondering for those infos, and long time ago I farmed a lot those whisps and never got a single shield (all skins) but many martial weapons only. (Farmed a lot during favor aswell)
Gonna try it again, gonna be a "new" old farm to do on my list.
If this area is considered like a dungeon it may allow the same drops as wiki said, but was not sure during those past years.

Hey there,
According to GWWiki, Whirling Whisps are a potential foe who may drop those shields.
My question is : Did the Whirling Whisps in Battledepths are supposed to drop those shields too?
Are Battledepths considered like all other areas? You can't vanquish this, so are foes may drop same things like other "vanquishables" areas!?
Afaik, I never heard something about this. That's why I created this post, my game knowledge is not that bad but I was wondering about those "vanquish" and "non vanquish" areas.
