I can provide some additional context for the item.
There are 2 version of winter gifts :
-The "Grenth version" will either kill or give you some coal when you open it. It could only be obtained during the first winsterday event in 2005.
- The "Dwayna version" will give you the regular winsterday drops (candy cane, eggnogs etc..). This version could be obtained from 2005 to 2010 by interacting with a NPC in kama.
The Grenth version will obviously be rarer than the Dwayna version. Sadly they share the same name and the same icon, so the only way to know which is which is to see if they stack with other Dwayna or Grenth winsterday gifts.
I can't give you a PC as i'm interested in buying it. But for comparison other event items goes something like that : Jade wind orbs 0,5/1e each, Zaishen medaillon 1-5e each, Naga fangs 5-40e (very few seller and very few buyer)

I can't really give you an exact price check on the cane, but judging by the kamadan trade chat this guy has been trying to sell it for more than 2 months and had already decreased his price several time.

A few weeks ago I bought a Q9 SotW with those exact stats (+45 wE +10 fire) for around 200e in Kamadan.
Yours is very high req so it's not going to be an easy sell. If I was in the market for one I would maybe pay 20-40e for it

a = arms = Armbrace of truth = used as currency for high end items, currently 1a=40e
As for the price check, most of the bday mini are now extremely common and most of the player base already completed their HoM.
They are all going be hard to sell, 1-3e for the green, mayyybe 1e for the gold. And maybe 1-5e for the gwen and mox tonic.
The white and purple are just too hard to sell, better just keep them for your self, or give them away.

Yep you are correct, dual reds with -5/20% could drop during less than 2 months.
The -5/20% was introduced during the 02 March 2006 update and the dual red were nerfed just before faction release during the 26 April 2006 update.
On a side note it's also the same for the prenerf -5/20% on gold items (so -5/18% and lower) they had to drop in this 2 months time frame.

Also, something that came to mind recently...forgotten fans. Once upon a time, I remember hearing/reading that there were two different colors. I want to say I used to own a version of each, but if I did, that was many years ago. I don't know if the mod order was different from one color to another, but it was like a lighter or darker version of the previous color.
The English wiki images would suggest that was the case as well, but could just be different lighting idk.
Hum that's an interesting one. Yeah the image on the wiki seems to suggest 2 different color (you can also see it here) and that would fit the pattern with the current version being way darker than the prenerf one. I will add it to the list of possible prenerf !

Maybe for the frozen fan but the difference is less obvious on the wiki image (here). As for the martial weapon there are very few color change, especially when they have a basic color like the totem axe or the icebreaker.
Maybe it's time to add them? I've been updating the wiki with high resolution images since a few months ago but I never added screenshots of the description for unique items because I didn't know if it was allowed, I'm going to ask if we can do it like in the German Wiki and if they give permission I will start doing it as secondary task.
That would be an amazing idea. I have quite a few green in my collection PM me if you need some screenshots.

Thanks a lot Unholy, I added Brohn and Gorrel to the list. We now have a total of 28 confirmed prenerf greens
Those 2 staves also disprove my previous theory.
I thought that the different mod order came from the 25th october 2006 update that changed 20% attribute specific HSR to a 20% global HSR. But those 2 staves... don't have an HSR, were never affected by that update and still have a different mod order !
I also did some digging on the german wiki and was able to find this. It's screenshot of a Brohn's staff with the current mod order that was uploaded to the wiki on the 23th August 2006 !

Yep I agree with the previous answers. The OS version of the spiked club (that drop very rarely and only on Shing Jea island) can be valuable, but the insc version is just merch food or 1-5e if you find someone who need it.
