This bud from the collector NPC since Prophecies.
I replaced all the blues with golds over time, but I kept it in the storage.
Until 2011 I also kept my old Sorrow Furnace/Tombs customized greens in my old account (Grognar's Blade, Malinon's Skull Crusher, Victo's Maul, Bludgeoner, Forgerunner) and an original Warrior Elite Platemail armor dyed in black before ArenaNet changed the dye system (I originally started playing as Warrior in 2005) but I don't have screenshots because when I quit in the hiatus between 2012~2020 I gave the account to a friend and everything was looted, salvaged or deleted.

Arun is a warrior who have rank 15 ha, also he did lot of ha and got same armor it's why some people think it was Arun.
But if im not wrong he don't play (at least for moment) at gw.
I had covered the ign for privacy because it was irrelevant to the thread, although I still have the original picture in case you want to confirm it.
EDIT: Okay, we confirmed it's Arun, but the name is from another of his characters indeed.
-
This war was Arun
I don't know who is Arun, but (at least) that's not the name of the character in the picture. If it's another of his characters then no idea, I just took the picture because I liked the armor combo.

2. I owned and sold the first ever q8/16 gold enamled shield on the market back then on WARTOWER. sold it for 275e or 475e i cant recap for sure. it was quite somemoney back then, still not a good trade from modern perspective
I believe we've all made bad changes at times. I remember selling a q8 insc FDS to nik for 50e or so in Kamadan (i think it was blue) and a few days later someone whispered to me ingame me saying that he had resold it here for more than double and I thought "mdfk!" xD but I don't care shit happens.

I was about 4 months into the game and thought I knew everything about everything. I was making a nice little income selling mini pets. One late night in LA I was selling a lich. I remember one guy offering me a purple crys sword for the pet. To which I proceeded to let him know that I was smarter than that. That no purple weapon was wirth more than my gold mini pet. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
But that's very common, it's not your fault. In the past no one knew the revaluation that these things would have in the future, or that ArenaNet would make certain changes screwing the drop table of certain items. Look what happened to the Denravi Weapons, a bunch of useless items that except the sword no one wanted, and today, only because they were removed from the game, people is trying to scam and taking advantage selling them for ridiculous prices (or with the Jade Wind Orbs, or like a hundred more examples). It's like if tomorrow ArenaNet removes another item from a crafter lost in the game that nobody remembers, although the item were literally an useless shit that no one would carry around while playing, it doesn't matter, that useless shit itself would happen to be worth a fortune since that moment.
-
I don't consider this a noob moment but a mistake, but when ArenaNet created the costumes I bought the Vale Wraith, I put it in my Warrior and I completed the Factions campaign receiving a lot more damage than expected. It wasn't until I arrived at Raisu Palace that I realized I was playing without armor and only with the costume, for some reason that I don't remember I left the armor in the storage the day I bought the costume and I never checked the bag again.

It does'nt change his initial decision to take advantage of you. Besides he likely only decided to make things right with you because his actions were made public here.
This. Basically.

Ostona I used to sell for around 35€ since I bought them for 10€ each. But they are all gone already. You can still find them on ebay for about 50€ but those aren't from me ;).
Where are you from? The trick is to search on the german ebay or on the international ebay. PM me, maybe I can assist you. GuessWhosBack how is your CE? Im interested if you were scammed
Nah don't worry, for 50€ I pass, too expensive. It was in case by any chance you still had one, but it doesn't really matter.

Jack559 how much for one of each? I'm good with only the code

Thanks for creating these new subforums. As I said in the other thread I hadn't noticed them until today somehow.
I am going to read what's in carefully because I see that there is more info than I thought, and there are things that I don't know if they can be written on the wiki in the form of an article since the format tags are not the same here as there.
Edit: well, fuck, I think I'm gonna die if I have to create an article for everything there, there are a lot more things than I imagined > . <

@Oldschool Cool We love nitpicks
I'm thinking a thread should be made of what is possible for wands, focus and staffs currently in regards to profession related mods as a lookup resource. Then everything that doesn't conform to that list can be declared prenerf.
I saw @Ostona posted in "Does it exist" stuff about the HoD items. Between that, these additional quest reward changes you speak of and dv, dz, xx/-10, xx/-5 a "Blue" thread should absolutely be made. Well volunteered both of you
PS Ostona. If you are working on a article for Unconditional items for wiki please copy a version to a "Prenerf" thread as the info is a bit sparse and scattered around atm. I made a start on this, will pm you what I have.
F, sorry, I didn't see this thread until today, it'll have escaped me between all the notifications, thanks that Pleikki has made a bump and I have seen it on the main page.
Okay, once I have something I will post it in that sub-forum (I was going to do it anyway though, because I wanted to write something logical and not a simple copy-paste with the information, so it will take a little time).
I also have to ask the two or three moderators that are active in the wiki if an article with technical information and a list of items can be created as an exception, because normally the articles only have basic and general information, reserving the technical part for the "Discussion" page, such as item drop/research for example. This will probably be linked in the Historical content category, but I also want to create another subcategory for all the pre-nerf stuff, to have everything linked in one single place.

Oh, I know another with this.

I wanted a new set for raptor farming, something super Old School with which to remember the old days
I always liked that armor, it's super tank, and the boots are amazing (the boots are my favorite part of the Templar armor), it's like a succession of steel plates mounted one on top of the other and the appearance of toughness is seen in the entire set. The male helmet is the only thing that I don't like though, I prefer the female helmet with the spikes.

Ah, yes, I Have Zrank Twelve, the player with an Assassin at LVL 19 living in Kamadan 24/7/365, he always looked suspicious with the type of WTS he had.
I also traded "in advance" a few times, but only with members of this forum in which I trust and small amounts (like 50-70e), and never with random players that I don't know.
If there was iron hand with this scumbags, Dhumm would go out for a walk, but we all know what is the current status of the game.
EDIT: Well, I said bann, but if it were up to me I would directly delete his account from the server and database.

I'm interested if you have intention to sell it, at least for the sake of trying combinations.
Mr. Clean(-Value) do you remember by any chance others thread withs similar mods?

Ostona seems on the money, it was the same answer given by a Wiki user in 2011.
The Lakeside County Talk page has the same question asked in 2010.
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Talk:Lake…rt_on_a_rock.3F
Unfortunately the question looks like it prompted it's removal from the list of Landmarks on the wiki page, but an answer followed that is still unverivied I guess:
- One of the programmers or designers working on Prophecies got married during development and this was included as a memento. ~~ Large 13:45, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
Yep, that's what I read around 2007 in a Spanish forum of my old guild, but I believe the info was taken probably from another English website (perhaps Guru? I don't know) because Spanish GW communities always copied the info from the English ones, but I don't have any more clues either.
In its moment I looked at the credits and I thought it was Daniel Dociu (Studio Art Director) since it's the only name with "DD" and none with "SS" in the list and has been working there between 2003 - 2017, but this was never confirmed and could be anything imo, it wouldn't even have to be the initials of his name.

I was going to start compiling the info to create the new articles in the wiki about 1) Unconditional weapons 2) PreNerf greens 3) HoD old weapons, and because this thread is called "Does it exist?" I think it's better to write and ask it here. Since the "Unconditional weapons", "The truth about Pre-Nerf" and "Info and research on prenerf greens" threads are actually very well documented already, the only thing with those will be to coordinate a good writing for the article.
The remaining issue is to obtain the info regarding the Henge of Denravi original weapons crafted by Caprice.
With the info and screenshots compiled from this threads I've created a table, but it's still incomplete. Also, according an unknown user in the discussion page of the sword, there were more items removed, as it states: "The warrior -50% hex helmet and some Necro tunic without the rest of the armor."

Things in color red are the missing ones. Any help to preserve this is appreciated, from my side I reached a dead-end trying to scratch information, I'm going for a walk in the Guru archive but due the hard method of search I don't think I will be able to find something.

I will never understand why they changed the color in many post-nerfs items, but they are now ugly as hell. The Brimstone, The Stonebreaker (Hammer), Flint's Fleshcleaver, Galigord's Rod, etc, all aberrations.
-
Not the one I'm looking for but it's something.
-
This one is not mine but from another player, I took it in my last Heroes' Ascent run after this Terminator approached and killed me.
-
There are many items from betas left in players inventories like white staff wrappings that add nothing to anything xD
But for brick muds, i can confirm they excisted in game, i remember when dev (mike or gaile gray) was even showing them to ppl at sometime years back, after that i dont know if they been removed from ppl's inventories after they removed the artisan in shiverpeaks, but back in 2005-2006 they did excist in the game.
I resurrect this to say that I found in the Guru archive the "infamous" screenshots:
Sources (Date: Apr 27, 2008) (Time: 06:42 PM / 18:42)
I analyzed the screenshot and ""apparently"" it seems real despite the pixelation due the compression. The thing here is to know "how" he obtained the items if Mike or Gaile were the only ones having them. I find it practically impossible that something like this would have survived the first weeks of the game, and not just one item, but both. Why I say this? Because the pictures of both items in the Wiki were uploaded in 2007, and the post is from 2008, so even if the trade window screenshot is real, what makes me doubt is if the icon of the items could have be taken from there to fake it.
The user who posted the screenshots says that the person who traded the items told him that they dropped near The Wilds (message #13), and "near" can mean anything in this game, more when we are talking of crafting materials and not monster materials (I don't Imagine a Wind Rider dropping a Brick of Mud). I think it's totally BS, because that terrain has been exploited thousands of times and the location is precisely at the end of the map, a good excuse to send someone to the other end of the world to look for something that does not exist to waste time... but who knows.
Anyway, this is the small contribution that I have been able to get out of the whole thing. The screenshot is cut, the names are deleted, everything is pixelated, we don't even know the nickname of the player who took the screenshot and in the May 29, 2008 update the item was removed from crafters (33 days after the post from Guru), so it's a dead-end and we can only trust (or not) in what is left and the word of the people who claim that it existed and could be obtained in past times.
