I have no idea how I acquired that sundering or how long I've had it. Not something I buy or trade ever and anything prenerf would never be left on the account it was on. Anybody lost one?

I would say you are spot on.
Few exceptions for staves :
Divine / heal or prot is a great combo
Spawn / resto
I think that's about it for staves.
Mostly if it's not q9 and perfect it will not have value for non inscr weapons like swords axe hammers bows...
Few exceptions for dual vampiric / zeal weapons that can have value even if not q9 depending on the skin.

All of that is definitely worth money like said, do an auction if you would like to sell any of these... A few items might not have much value as they are still dropable today, but I wouldn't merch them...
One thing that attracts my attention is the eternal shield purple, am not so sure anymore thinking about it but don't they drop only white blue or gold ? And what do you mean by "inscription" on it ? Cheers
