can anyone give me PC on those items and the post nerf q8 stuff in general? I guess that a true max dmg q8 pre nerf drop should be worth more, but how about the current "max dmg" q8 weapons? If I did my research correctly the max dmg for a q8 axe is 6-27 for example, or 14-27 for a q8 bow. How rare are drops like this actually and are they worth it? Thanks in advance!

Guys, thanks again for all the advice. I came back to tell you I achieved greatness. Days turned to weeks while slaying every corsair in Zehlon reach and moddok crevice again and again and again. I am almost sure they hate me more than anything over there. Due to the Bonus week before, the current event and an urgent case of low lucky points I figured that barbarous shore in NM will surely get me this cursed blade eventually.
After opening about 1000 chests and my patience coming to an end I could not believe what happened after opening a chest in the Corsair infested Harbor: Req 9 Colossal Scimitar! After picking it up faster than anything before and travelling back to the Guild hall I realized something terrible: 14-20 dmg. I was about to quit, stop my efforts and just accept it is not meant to be.

24 Hours passed and I barely recovered from this shock and then I remembered the advice of good old Mordana I entered the caves below Kamadan while favor was active. For two times, just to be able to say that I have tried everything before shamefully using the one I bought for 10e in kamadan. But then it just happened. Countless hours of farming, chest running and being mad finally resulted in the perfect, max dmg Q9 Colossal Scimitar. I can finally rest now.

Maybe it does not make sense for most people to spend so much time on a weapon that lost all it’s value and exclusiveness in 2007 or even earlier, but idk why, I was most hooked to the game when this weapon was like the most desirable for everyone and I was Never Lucky enough to own one. And I really prefer anything that dropped just for me instead of buying a random thing.

• Outcast Shield Dual Mod, preference would be +hp (wE, wS or flat bonus) and -2 wE, wS or -5/20. I‘d go as high as q12 strength. Not perfect mods are welcome, I‘d happily take a +42 or +27 or whatever
• Magmas Shield (same specifications as above) - I‘d also consider buying an inscr version, preference q9

Hey guys, I would really like to get a colossal scimitar by farming it myself. I tried moddok crevice for several days and easily about 80 runs without any luck. I switched to farming the corsairs in Zehlon Reach but nothing so far. How goddamn rare is this thing? Idc about req or anything, just max dmg with insc slot would be fine. Can anyone suggest other strats if I want to get it myself? Or is it that rare and I should expect farming for weeks?
I have got the feeling that Zehlon Reach might be better than Moddok Crevice because I get somewhat regular weapon drops from the warriors there while in Moddok crevice they hardly drop anything beside armor pieces.
Any advice would be appreciated:-)

Hello everyone, could you pls provide a pc for this shield? I know it is not the most sought after skin, but since it has clean value and the mods seem good for DoA (correct me if I am wrong on this) it should be worth something, right?

Hm I guess they could very well be interested in making certain items more rare or harder to obtain. I think the grind for the perfect item with a desirable skin is one of the things that keeps people in games like this. It would be definitely less interesting if perfect items drop left and right. The implementation of regulating mechanics for this matter should be realitively easy.

But I get it, there is no known mechanic and it could very well be just rng that's not on my side or my mind that's really narrowed on getting just this one drop that makes me think this way.

Hey, I don't know if this topic has been dicussed a lot and thus considered to be common knowledge or not.

Anyways I was wondering, if there are any confirmed and actually proven mechanics in place that prevent "overfarming" while chest running. Since I started with the treasure hunter thing, I am almost convinced about that, the qualitiy of my drops has been decreasing. Like I am still getting a lot of golds, but ultimately I am looking for Echovald Shields, GotH, Magmas Shields, (...). It seems like I got a lot more of those drops in the beginning. Especially Echovalds are pretty much non existent for me anymore. I try to alternate the routes (currently switching between Hells, Pongmei, Morostov, Eternal Grove), take some breaks or off days but it does not seem to work. Is this all just rng or am I actually getting shafted by some dumb code that's messing with my drops? Are there any known counter measures to this?

And furthermore, why is it so goddamn hard to find a semi usable OS shield drop? Out of all drops I've had there was one shield that I'd use on my war, even though its Q12. Seems rare enough to even get a shield with two mods, but getting one that's actually usable has to be the equivalent of winning the lottery I'd appreciate any advice!
