I know, got many q8 through the years, still like to do it. But I'm hooked now to OS q3 shields farming lol.
I also love Q3 farming, and in all honesty, it "feels" as though getting a max Q3 gold item other than a shield (Q3 shields are very rare but will always be max) is just as rare if not more than Q8s. Now I am sure this will get some debates, but if you consider the minimal places with level 12 foes and number of people that farm them, the chances are pretty dang low.
Yeah beside tengu farm there are really almost no spots left. There are few mobs/bosses around but that's huge time waste.

Do you believe these datas are fixed? What about rng factor? For instance I got 2 q8 shields from a mob in 15 minute time gap. Could not be fixed. If that's the case, then farming q8 is just time waste.

Damn, could be there a way to get q7 drops again? For instance some forgoten quests etc? But I assume they removed it completely from the loot tables. But I wonder did they made some mob level like 10- 11 and 21-22 on purpose to reduce low req gold items drops (lvl 10-11) and reduce q8 drops lvl (21-22) etc. it cannot be that they did that on purpose. Maybe we got ****** by random chance. Cannot believe they diged that deep to prevent desirable low q gold items drop. Must be coincidence. I'm talking about propercies.

Yes, necros do drop shield. But gl getting q8 and usable one from lvl 21 (if they drop).

I'm 100% sure anti farm code reduces quality of items droped. For instance i soloed Grenths footprint (HM) first time (with 2 bonders one of them is a monk with acc that only had propercies and isn't being used for 13 years) and first time I got 43 (couldn't believe it) gold items. Second run I got 21, third 13, fourth 9. And from almost all bosses I got greens equally in each run. So I think quality and quantity of items droped, drops each consequtive runs. Or maybe a factor was a charracter that wasn't used for 13 yrs. So definitely there is a factor that reduces quality. So maybe studining the anti farm code from gw 2 could drive us in a right way.

It's same thing for me. Last few years I got like one q8 sword drop and few semi usable shields. It's confirmed that there is some kind of anti farm code that lowers amount and quality of items droped. But no one really knows (or wants to say) how to counter these things.
